She had spent the holidays with her family. Her sister was gushing all about Jordan. Asking how he was in bed. She declined to answer that.
Jordan and Sam had another deep discussion. He said he was still waiting for her to tell him she wanted to be with him.
Donnie had given her the space and only called her twice. She liked that he wasn't pressuring her, but she liked the fact Jordan wanted her and let her know.
She flew back to LA and unpacked her bags. She had been honest with Jordan that she was seeing someone in LA. He seemed fine with it. He just said one day, you will realize what I have already realized, and you will be with me.
She had missed Jordan in bed; he was really good. Donnie is good, but Jordan is so much more. Donnie will be in Boston until next week.
So, she had this whole week to herself. They start shooting tomorrow, and they are a little over halfway finished.
Once they get all the scenes shot and edited, they will put them together in order and have a viewing party for everyone in the cast and production team.
She has been really considering the job Darren offered her back in Boston. No more traveling; she could actually be home. Better pay and benefits. If she decided to commit to Jordan, she would be closer to him.
Her phone rang, it was Jordan, "Hello."
"Hey, baby. Did you make it back to LA safe and sound?"
"I did. I just got back an hour ago or so. Just unpacked and sat down."
"Good, glad you got back safely. We have a lot of interviews and talk shows scheduled for the next month."
"Keeping you busy. Your tour kicks off in three months?"
"Yes, I will only have about two weeks free with nothing scheduled. Ticket sales are going great. I will need to know your schedule so I can arrange for you to come visit me at the show."
"That would be nice. I know I'm here for the next three months, and a project was discussed, but nothing signed as of yet. So, I may be here for even longer if the clients choose me as their videographer."
"Well, the tour comes through LA. I do know I have a big launch party in three weeks there, so make sure to talk to your other friend and tell him you will be busy."
"Okay, you will have to give me exact days of when that is so I can ensure my schedule is clear. I have been working twelve to fourteen-hour days."
"I will email it to you later this week. I promise when you make the decision to commit to me that, I will marry you one day. I know you aren't ready, and I am fine with that. I just want you to know and understand I am interested in you, not just your body, even tho it is great."
Jordan and Donnie were so different. Jordan wanted to take her out to dinner and even a few movies. Sometimes, they would watch movies at one of their houses before they ever went to the bedroom.
Donnie would bring food over, and then they would go to the bedroom. He was sweet, but he was nothing like Jordan. She wiped her eyes as she heard Jordan's words.
"One day, Mr. Knight, I may just shock you. You make me feel things I didn't think I would ever feel again. One day, just not today." He smiled at her words.
"I will be ready and patiently waiting to hear those words. I am going to get off here and shower. I'm glad you made it back. I will talk to you later, sweetie. Good night and sweet dreams, Samantha."
"Umm, a shower, your body all wet. I can just imagine seeing you in the shower. Me too. I hate being delayed in airports makes me feel exhausted. I will talk to you later, dear. Good night and sweet dreams to you, Jordan." They hung up, and she looked at her phone.
