Jordan had left from LA, and he called her every day. She had been working long hours on the movie shoot and had to do a lot of editing.

Jordan had flown back in just to spend the weekend with her. They had an incredible night of passion. She is lying in his arms with her head on his chest.

(Flashback)

"I really like you, Sam. I enjoy our phone conversations, when we are together when we go out to dinner and the passion we have in the bedroom. I know we said no strings, but honestly, that's all I can think about. I want you holding all my strings and me like a puppet on a string."

"Jordan, where is this coming from?"

"You are all I have been able to think about since the first night we slept together. I tried to go back to before. I slept with Emily, and guess what? I felt like I was doing something wrong. I don't know why or how this happened. You are the only person I want to be with. I think about you all day and all night."

"Jordan, we said no strings. With my job and yours, it would never work. Please, don't misunderstand that at all. I enjoy our time together and our conversations when we aren't, but I just can't right now."

"Sam, we can make it work. Listen, I understand this isn't something you are ready for right now; just don't shut me out. Maybe one day, when you are ready to commit, we can just revisit this conversation. I just wanted you to know how I felt. I want it to be just me and you, and I will wait as long as I have to until you're ready for that step."

"Jordan, I don't know if I will ever be ready for that. Waiting for me, you would just be wasting your time. I'm sorry, I'm just not ready."

"I will be patiently waiting for you. When you feel you are ready for me, just tell me. Until then, we will just talk and meet when our schedules allow."

"Thank you, Jordan. Most guys would be upset, and I appreciate you being so understanding." He leaned down and kissed her, and they spent the rest of the night lost in their passion.

It had been six weeks since she had seen Jordan. He still called her, just not every day. He was busy rehearsing for his tour.

Her assignment had been extended to six months. She had finished her first project and was starting on her second tomorrow. She was a little nervous, but she was excited to get started.

The next morning, she climbed out of bed, showered, made her coffee, and headed to the studio.

She had her badge and car pass. She pulled into a parking space by the studio she would be working in today. She got her stuff and walked into the building. She saw the director and walked over.

"Samantha, so great to see you again. I was so happy when they agreed to extend your time here to work on this project with me."

"Thank you, and I am excited."

"Well, this film we start filming today, we have to have this project completed because it's a quick release. We have some majorly long hours ahead of us."

"I am ready for whatever we have to deal with."

"Great to hear. So, let me introduce you to our cast. The starring cast is Sarah, Reese, Ryan, and Selma."

She saw Sarah Michelle Gellar and Reese Witherspoon. She started freaking out a little. She smiled and shook their hands as he introduced her to them.

"So, this is a thriller movie. We will be shooting some scenes from here and others from different studios. I will need nightly edits, and you will be my right-hand girl. I enjoyed all the hard work and dedication you put in on the last shoot, so I wanted you on this one with me."
