Happy Birthday to ZhongchiKindafine and ZynaAaxx!

Sorry that it's only on for two, but it was my last day off and that's all I had in me today.

Wriothesely's POV

"Are you sure you'll be fine here?"

 "Quite sure." He nodded.

 But I'm not!

I don't know about you, but I definitely won't be fine.

How the hell can you sit on that couch and look more like the owner of the room than the actual owner?

 And-

 "Are you angry?"

"Why would I be?" He asked, but he refused to look up from his work.

 Yeah.

 I definitely pissed him off.

"Come now, Neuvillette. Sigewinne will be perfectly fine. There is not a single person in the fortress that would want to hurt her. Aren't you being far too protective?"

Finally, he looked up and met my eyes.

I felt like I was drowning looking into that pair of eyes that unlike usual, didn't look even remotely human.

"I advise you from agitating me further, Wriothesely. Not unless you want to find out what it is like to anger a dragon." He said emotionlessly.

To say that he was insanely intimidating at the moment would have been an understatement, but-

 This is my territory.

"Oh? And what would that be like?" I asked, smirking.

And in hindsight, that might have been a mistake.

A dangerous, almost predatorial glint flashed in his eyes.

The hand that was on my tie shot up, tightening around my throat as I was yanked forward once again.

 Close-

 Too close!

We were so close to each other that I could feel his breath on my skin.

"I could snap your neck just as easily as I could flood the Fortress of Meropide. Do not think that my identity as one of the Seven Dragon Sovereigns is just for show, Wriothesely."

His words sounded almost like a low growl as if he was holding something back and just as I thought that for once, I might have made a big mistake teasing the oblivious dragon-
