Navia's POV

I subtly nudged at Clorinde as I tried suppressing a grin.

 "He is incredibly convincing."

 "Yes, he is." She nodded.

I would have totally believed him had I not known the truth.

"It should be our turn soon, right?"

"Yes it should be and it will be so please calm down, Via."

I couldn't help but blush at the nickname, turning away from her.

"I'm calm. I'm the most calm I have ever been. I'm not excited in the slightest."

"I never said you were excited." She chuckled.

 Damn it!

"It's the first time I've been up here on Monsieur Neuvillette's good side, okay? How can I not be excited?"

"I'm quite sure you've never been on his bad side, but okay. Still, you will have to reign in your excitement a bit."

 Fine, fine. I'll try, okay?

"Please excuse me for the delay, Miss Navia. Now, if you will, please present the evidence against the defendant and his organization."

 Finally!

 "Of course, Your Honor."

 Hallelujah!

I thought that bastard would keep wasting time forever!

What I'm going to say is so unbelievable he can't possibly not comment on it.

I hope he comments on it!

I want to have a go at him too.

"Navia." Clorinde called out from behind me like a warning.

 Okay, okay.

"Aside from the testimonies of the members of this organization, we have a singular piece of evidence!"

 Et voila!

 Let the chaos begin!

Frankly, this was Ldy Furina's idea.

Her only idea I ever agreed with.

Well, her second idea I agreed with, actually. There was also that.

 That aside-

 "What?"

 "Just one?"

"Just what could it be for them to be this confident?"

 This was to be expected.

"Hah! Just one? You want to blame this all on me with a single piece of evidence?" Gerald laughed.

This was to be expected as well.

 My turn now!

"Naturally this will be evidence enough to convict you."

"Oh, pray tell Miss Navia, just what miraculous thing do you have? A recording of my crimes?" He asked mockingly.

 "Bingo!"

 "What?"

"Congratulations! You were right for once! We do have a recording."

I could see his grin cracking as he stood there completely frozen.

I looked at Monsieru Neuvillette, giving him a questioning look.
