Hope brings Appa higher into the air, they had been flying low for a while to avoid suspicions but now they were getting closer to the small village " Do you know what you will say?"
Aang had let Hope and Azula borrow Appa for this small detour, after their loss they would all rest up and wait for the next chance. They were going to see Azula's mother she was in a small violate which Azula figured out where was "No I don't but I'll figure it out, we have a while to go"
They didn't have a while but Hooe didn't want to tell her that she simply slowed Appa down and let Azula think "We can stop if you like, feed Appa"
Appa seems to like that Idea even if they only fed him an hour ago but Hope likes spoiling him "No it's fine let's keep going"
Appa huffs and then turns back to looking out "Don't worry Appa we get you some food soon"
Azula slides up towards Hope and leans a head on her shoulder and huddles against her for warmth "He just ate"
"So? He can eat more"
Azula shook her head and pulled out a map to show how close they were which meant they would have to land soon anyway "We can land there, it gives Appa some shelter too"
Hope nods and directs Appa towards the ground landing in the spot Azula pointed towards and they let Appa get under the small shelter. Azula lights a fire for him as Hope lays out some food for him to eat while they take a short trip.
Into town and to Hope's surprise it was lively, people were running towards a stage where a woman in a mask was dancing. Hope smiled and dragged Azula along to watch the show where two people performed "The Love Amongst Dragons..." Azula explained to Hope "...My mother used to take Zuko and me to watch this play in the Ember Islands"
"Shh, the best part is coming up" someone in front of the couple exclaims and instead of causing any more trouble the pair quiet down and watch.
The water spirit and dragon emperor embrace each other "Though I was trapped in the body of a mortal, you willingly gave me your heart, I can't help but give you mine in return"

The two lean in and kiss each other and everyone starts to clap for them including Hope even if she only saw the ending "I wish I saw more"

Hope practically melts at Azula's words, the fire bender could say the sweetest things "Come on let's go back to Appa for the night and we will come back in the morning"
