Chapter 15 - Love Or Death On Valentine's Day

It's Valentine's Day. The day where everyone spends their day with their love, eat a whole box of chocolates, and drink wine while eating chocolate with their love late at night. Sometimes, go to expensive fancy restaurants to have a pleasant dinner with the love of their life. A knock on the door disrupts Anamaria from sleeping. She groans covering her face with her pillow. As she relaxes, another knock on the door occurs. Anamaria looks at her alarm clock and it is 8:30 a.m. "Who would be knocking this early on a Saturday?" she asks as she gets up to walk to the door.

Anamaria opens the door and smiles. There stands Maximus in front of her holding a box of chocolates on one hand and holding a dozen of pink roses on the other hand. "Happy Valentine's Day my love." he says as he smiles handing her the gifts. She gasps surprised taking the gifts. She puts them on her bed and runs to hug him. "Thank you Max! Happy Valentine's Day to you too. You didn't have to get me anything." Max smirks "Ahh well, yes I did." he chuckles. "What are you doing up so early?" she asks curiously but happy. "I came here to see you, give you gifts, and want to invite you to dinner with me tonight. Anamaria open her mouth and Max cuts her off No questions asked. I'll see you at 7 o'clock. Dress your best." Maximus leaves and Anamaria closes the door. She smiles leaning against the door.

Gretel yawns stretching walking up to her "Who was that Ana? Gretel notices the box of chocolates and roses and who gave you those?" "Oh..Maximus." she smiles as she says his name. Gretel looks at her confused since she has never seen Anamaria with so much happiness. "That's sweet. What did he came for?" Anamaria looks up at Gretel "He came to give me these and invite me to dinner tonight. He said to dress my best. I don't know what for." Gretel smiles and smirks "I'm going to help you with what to wear today." "Really? You would do that?" Anamaria asks thrilled. "Ofcourse! After all, you are my partner in crime but not just that, my best friend." Anamaria hugs her super happy "Thank you Gretel!" Gretel hugs her back giggling "Now, let's go get dressed to eat. We have lots to do!" They both get dressed and head downstairs to eat.

As soon as Anamaria and Gretel leave the lunchroom after eating breakfast, they both bump into Ashton. "Ashton.." Gretel says nervously. "Hey umm... he gives Gretel flowers from behind his back using magic Happy Valentine's Day!" he chuckles nervously giving the flowers to her. "Oh that's sweet! Thank you!" Gretel hugs him meaningful. Anamaria smirks a bit watching them. Ashton notices his sister "And for you little sister... he takes out a red stone necklace out of his pocket This.. I made it myself. Happy Valentine's Day sis!" he chuckles. "I love it! You're the best brother ever!" she giggles hugging him. "I know." he says smirking. "Very sweet." Gretel says in her mind smiling at both of them. "Oh umm..Gretel I hope you don't have plans tonight because I'm taking you out." he smiles shyly at her. "Really where?!" Gretel says. "Mmm it's a surprise. You don't have to dress up fancy or anything. Just dress as yourself. So tonight at 7?" "Definitely!" "Great! Ana what are your plans tonight?" "I'm going out with Maximus..." Anamaria says scared to see her brother's reaction. "With Maximus?" he says dryly. "Yeah..." He clears his throat "Well just be careful. He turns to Gretel a little bit upset. I'll see you tonight at 7." Ashton kisses Gretel's cheek and walks in the lunchroom. "You're right. Let's focus on our dates tonight." Both of them walk out the castle to have a shopping day before the day turns dark.

The day has turned to night. It's time for both loving ladies to get ready for their dates. Gretel is ironing her hair while Anamaria is showering. Gretel is wearing a red shirt along with blue jeans and red converse. Anamaria comes out of the bathroom dressed shyly. She clears her throat and Gretel turns to her attention. Gretel eyes widened. Anamaria is wearing a red dress with sleeves, along with black leggings and high heels boots, red lispstick, and matching red earrings that goes along with the stone necklace her brother gave her. She looks amazing. "You look so beautiful..." Gretel says happy for her. Anamaria chuckles "Do you mind zipping me up?" "Anything for the queen!" Gretel gets behind her and help her zip up her dress. "Thank you." "Hey umm...do I look bad?" Gretel asks while posing. "No! You look awesome!" Gretel puts her thumb up and puts on some perfume. Someone knocks on the door. Gretel goes to open the door since Anamaria is fixing her hair.
