The sun has risen, morning was taking over. Not a single moment of shuteye has Ashton had. He couldn't stop thinking about the little flask bottle Maximus was hiding in his drawer. Most importantly what has Maximus done to Anamaria without anyone knowing. Hatred grew over Ashton's body towards Maximus. Why in the world would Maximus carry such a thing like that with him? Ashton was not going to rest until he finds out why.
Maximus awakens getting dressed for a new day. He sees Ashton facing the wall. Maximus sighs and leaves the door. Ashton gets off the bed and rushes to Maximus's drawer. He slowly opens it and takes out the bottle. A little side note hangs on the flask stating "Don't Drink". More suspicion creates Ashton. Definitely something not good. When Ashton looks down, he sees a journal. He looks around, then slowly picks it up. Could it be Maximus's personal journal? It can have the answer to every question Ashton has. Ashton takes a seat and turns the page to the last page Maximus wrote on.

" It is the day before Valentines Day and I have came up with the most genius idea no one will ever know. I have made a love potion. Yeah anyone can make a love potion, but mine is the most evil of all. Tomorrow night, I plan to take Anamaria to a restaurant as a date. When Anamaria, isn't looking, I'm going to pour it in her drink. Once she drinks it, she will fall madly inlove with me. More inlove than she has ever been. Want to know the best part? No one can break the spell. Wanna know why? I added a spark of poison... When she stops being inlove with me, her heart will fail, and she will die. Once everyone finds out, no one will have the power to take her away from me. She is mine... I will do anything and everything to keep her to myself. No one will have the power to take her away. She is mine and she is staying with me! Either face me or die trying to get her away from me!!! This is my most nefarious plan ever. Soon I WILL RULE ALL AND CREATE MORE PLANS!!! I have the power that no one not even the Strega Witch can take away!!!"
Ashton inhales deeply with anger and tosses the journal across the room. He runs his hand through his hair frustratingly thinking what to do. "Max I'm so going to kill you!" He kicks Max's drawer with rage and falls on the floor sitting trying to catch his breath. Tears run down his cheek. He looks at his desk and sees a picture frame of Anamaria and him together. Ashton looks down holding the picture frame close to his chest. "This is my fault. I'm so sorry I couldn't protect you. I'm going to make sure nothing bad happens to you. As your big brother. I love you..." Ashton quickly gets dressed, hides the flask, and journal in his pocket and runs out the door.
Seth bumps into Ashton "Hey! Woah, what's the rush?" Ashton tries to catch his breath "Seth I need your help." "Sure thing, what's up?" He takes Seth to a private corner "I need you to distract Maximus and make sure he doesn't go to his room." "Okay can I know why?" "I think he did something to my sister. Something evil and I need to find out if I'm right." "Wow dude. I'm sorry." "Thanks, so keep him distracted for me?" "Sure thing!" Ashton pats Seth's shoulder and runs to Gretel's room.
Gretel sees that Anamaria is more joyful than ever and gets suspicious. "Hey are you okay?" "Fantastic why you ask darling?" Anamaria asks while dancing around. "Well you seem different. Happier..." "Well if I am happier, shouldn't you be happy for me?" "Yes but..." Anamaria grows a little tension "But what?" "Well are you sure Maximus is the right one? You know how boys can be. They wipe your mind then leave you broken." "Maximus would never do that!" "Are you sure Ana? Because after 6 years of him being here, now is when he asks you on a date?" "Great! First my brother and now is you that is doubting him?! What am I going to do with you guys?! I LOVE MAXIMUS!" "Ana we care about you getting hurt. What are we supposed to do?" "Back off. That's what you should do. I can't believe you." Gretel clears her throat "Maximus is no good. You're only hurting yourself!" Anamaria turns back to her and pushes her "You're wrong! I am inlove with him and there is nothing you can do to take him away from me! Got that?!" Anamaria bursts out her door walking away angry.
