Chapter 6 - I've Got The Magic In Me

Despite the horrible argument Ashton had last night with Maximus, he was ready for today. It's been such a long time he practiced his magic outdoors and he was ready to experience that feeling today. Ashton woke up and noticed Maximus wasn't with him. He wandered around and shrugged. He got dressed nicely, washed his hands and face. Once he got his routine done, he headed out the room to get breakfast.

It was after breakfast, the bell rang, and everyone walked to class. "So why are we going outside?" Ashton asks. "We are doing a rain spell. It hasn't rained in such a while so we might as well give it a try." Beatrix answers to him with a smile. Professor Prestridge walks in wearing a hat and rain coat. "Alright class place your bowl of water on the cart and line up outside." Everyone places their bowl on the cart and start waiting outside of the class. Professor Prestridge locks up his door, starts walking with the cart, and everyone follows him. Outside was beautiful with butterflies flying, trees everywhere, and the field was just plain grass even though the sky is grey. Everyone stops walking and stands. "Now, can anyone tell me why do we need to be outside to do the rain spell?" Professor Prestridge starts. Dante raises his hand and answers "If we are going to do a rain spell we need nature. The clouds and weather needs to interact with the water so it can cause precipitation." "Good job Dante! That is correct! Nature needs to interact with water to cause rain. Since I chose a place without a lake, that is why I asked you all to bring a bowl of water. Now I want everyone to choose 3 people to be in their groups."

Everyone chats and start moving around. Ashton is with Seth and Dante, while Anamaria is with Gretel and Beatrix, which it makes Maximus left out. "I guess that makes you to be left out Maximus. No problem. This one you can do it on your own." Maximus stands next to professor. Professor Prestridge continues "Okay, so everyone must chose their captain and have 2 of their teammates sit across from each other." He waits for everyone to get ready and settle down. "Is everyone ready?" "Yes!" Everyone exclaims. "The 2 teammates face your captain. Maximus would you do an honor and start giving out the bowl of water?" "Yes Professor Prestridge." Maximus start giving the bowl of water to everyone and everyone is cupping the bowl of water in their hands. "I want everyone to close their eyes Professor Prestridge starts feel what the sky is feeling of so long it hasn't rained. Make it want to rain."

"Make the sky want to rain." Ashton repeats it in his thoughts. "Nature is depressed because it hasn't rained! Make it want to tear up even if it's just sprinkling. Professor Prestridge says it with sincere and love. A slight tear rolls down on her cheek and she wipes it off with 1 hand while she is concentrating. Keep feeling and everyone repeat after me." Professor Prestridge looks up at the sky with his eyes closed and the bowl of water in his hands.

"Drevni bogovi i božice,

Ja te zazivaju.

Vode s neba

Neka to bude.

Ja ti zapovijedam danas,

za tebe sve.

Poslušajte moje želje,

Kiša pada! Voda Nimfe štrajk oblake pa će kiša slobodno pada na tlo."

The clouds slowly start forming to bond together and everyone keeps repeating chanting to the sky. Ashton chants the words "Drevni bogovi i božice, Ja te zazivaju. Vode s neba Neka to bude. Ja ti zapovijedam danas, za tebe sve. Poslušajte moje želje, Kiša pada! Voda Nimfe štrajk oblake pa će kiša slobodno pada na tlo." Professor Prestridge goes to Maximus "Maximus since you are doing this on your own make sure you make your circle then over the bowl. Now I am going to give you the words to say since you are doing this alone. After me alright?" Maximus nod focused and ready.

"Voda Nimfe štrajk oblake pa će kiša slobodno pada na tlo."

Maximus repeats the chants words after him and keeps on. The water from everyone's bowl starts drifting up to the sky as they chant the words. It starts froming into dew as they get closer to the clouds. Suddenly it starts sprinkling and everyone looks at their bowl and sees what is happening. They keep continuing chanting and then it started to rain. We did it!Professor Prestridge yells out and everyone cheers and claps looking up at the rain. It starts raining harder and some of them gasp. Alright everyone, get the cart, and go inside! Lets go!" The class starts rushing inside as they keep getting wet by the rain. Ashton sees Anamaria shivering and he goes to her. She looks away from him mad and he gets hurt just by seeing her do that. Seth pats on Ashton's shoulder and looks at him "Well that was fun." Ashton nods as he looks at Anamaria and Maximus also looks at him angry. "Wow.. what happened?" Seth asks Ashton as he noticed the way Maximus glanced at him angry. Ashton shrugs and sighs.

On that night, Ashton stayed in his room studying. He didn't eat dinner even if he was hungry due to the hurtful feeling he got when his little sister is mad at his brother. It was to bare for him to flashback at the way she glanced at him with anger. Ashton's eyes get watery and he wipes it off as he flashback. "I was only doing that to protect you Ana.. It was never meant to hurt you. Only for the best and I promise you that.." Those words were running through his head because those were the only words he can tell her. As he looked up, he noticed that all of Maximus's things were missing and he looked down knowing he probably dislikes him for stooding up his sister. He owed both of them an explanation but most importantly..he owned his sister.

There are so many things he can tell his sister but he just didn't know how to start and tell her. It was getting late, he turned off the lights to go to sleep, and eventually let the right words come up to him. For now, he was feeling guilt.
