Chapter 4 - Bonding With The Sister

When Ashton was alone, he decides to write in his journal. "The food was great and so are the people here. After 8 years, I finally found my sister and when I look at her, she is the same little girl she was 8 years ago. She's so beautiful, amazing, and her personality hasn't changed. I decided to stay here and learn wizardy and crafts. Even though I promised I would bring her home, it was impossible and I can't leave her side..not this time. She is going to have a big brother that will help her out, be by her side, and protect her from any danger that comes up. Because, that is the big brother and am always going to be." Ashton's door was open and Anamaria knocks gently. "Knock knock." Ashton closes his journal and looks back at her. "Hey sis.." "Hey, I was wondering if you would like to go around to take stroll with me?" Ashton looks at her and notices she was covering herself with a sweater while wearing cute green pjs with leafs everywhere and smiles remembering how cute she use to look like in her childhood when she was wearing her pjs. "Yeah, I'll go with you." He grabs a coat and goes to take a stroll with her.

It was a beautiful night. The halls were surrounded by candles every corner you turn and the moonlight reflects against the glass which makes the light glimmer around the whole room. "Ana.." "Yes brother?" she smiles curiously at him while walking. He gulps and takes a deep breath "Why did you run away 8 years ago?" The excitement between them tuned down where it got more serious. "After mom and dad died, I had a vision...it was more like a dream." "What was it?" She gulps and flashesback to remember "The Pradist was taking over. She was ruling over harbingers, witches, and humans. Then I had the feeling that where I am wasn't safe. I have to stop this before it happens. She was going to take something of me, more like my abilities. I wasn't safe. Then I got up, left you a note, and then..l-left." Anamaria wipes her tears with her sleeve.

"You know I would never let anything hurt you right? The Pradist is in control now. She doesn't hurt anyone unless they hurt her or her loved ones. I'm here now." He tries to give her a hug "I KNOW!" Her yell echoed across the hallways. She looks back at him with teary eyes "You dated her daughter...the Eve." "How did you..?" "I've been keep watching on you and everyone. I at least needed to watch you instead of calling." There was a moment of silence between them "Ana.." He places a caring hand on her shoulder while she was looking away "She was my first crush since 1st grade. I never let her go and now.. I left her." He looks down sad and sighs. "You liked her...Why did you leave her?" She looks back at him and feels a little guilty for him. "Because I found you. Family comes first. When I found you, I wasn't going to give up. Now I am here and I'm staying." Tears of happiness filled in between them and they both hugged meaningful. "Thank you.." "I would never leave your side." It was a connection that they haven't felt in 8 years, so they stayed there hugging.

Since it was getting late, Ashton decided to walk his sister to her dorm. "Goodnight little sis.." He softly kisses her cheek goodnight while she hugs him. "I'll see you in the morning." He nods and leaves. The whole time they were on a stroll Maximus was watching. As he noticed Ashton was walking back to his dorm, he rushed to his dorm before he arrived. When he got in his dorm, he jumped on his bed and grabbed a book to read. "Hey Maximus." "Oh hey Ashton." "Do you know what are we doing tomorrow?" Ashton changes to a baggy shirt and shorts. "Since your new, we are all going to review on nature magic and then the next day, we will go outside and practice." "Thanks and you know..it's nice to have you as a roomate Max.." He smiles slighty and Max smiles back. "Thank you. You too." He smiles slighty and gets in bed.

"Hey." Ashton looks at him. "Don't let the bed bugs bite." He smirks and Ashton scoofs chuckling. "Yeah you too buddy. Goodnight." They both turned off the light and went to sleep.
