*Tick Tock Tick Tock*
There was a deafening silence in the pub of the Green Spark as Susie, Quercus and W all sat at a table. The tucking of the clock and the pitter patter of the rain was the only things that could be heard in the pub.
"So... Are you going to introduce yourselves or are you both just gonna stare at me all buggy eyed?" W broke the silence as she tapped the table with her finger.
"Right, of course. My name is Susie Glitter." Susie gave the Sarkaz Mercenary a slight bow. "I am an employee of the Green Spark."
Quercus soon followed suit in the introductions. "My name is Quercus. I am the owner of the Green Spark."
W nodded her head before she stood up to introduce herself. "W; Sarkaz Mercenary. And a friend of our little friend outside."
Susie's eyes widened as W introduced herself. "M-Mercenary?"
"Relax. I'm not after his bounty. If I was, there would be chaos across the whole city." W flashed the pink Cat girl a toothy grin. "Plus, he really is a good friend of mine I wouldn't do that for the life of me."
Quercus sighed as she gave W a sceptical glance. "Susie. I think we can trust her. If Yuki does, then I think we can as well."
Susie lightly nodded in affirmation.
W clapped her hands together before speaking. "Great, now that we're on the same page; let's get to business."
"Go on." Quercus continued to keep her sceptical gaze upon the Sarkaz.
"Wow. Impatient much." W said in mock annoyance. "So, I take it that my Little Snake Boy went feral on Little Miss Susie after killing an idiotic Mercenary. Correct?"
"Yes. That's correct."
"Yeah, and you see how he's mentally T'd out because of that? And how he's vulnerable to potential assassination via a mercenaries blade."
"So you're here to watch over him. Am I getting that right?" Quercus stated.
"Ding ding ding! One thousand points to Miss Quercus." W clapped her hands.
"Alright then. Make yourself at home." Quercus sighed. "You both sit tight. I'm going to speak to Yuki about something."
"Roger that." W saluted.

When Quercus walked out of the pub, she saw Yuki who was still staring up at the sky.
"Yuki?"
"You wanted to talk?"
"Yes, I did." Quercus looked to the floor. "I just wanted to apologize for-"
Yuki cut her off before she could continue her thought. "Don't worry about that. You didn't know."
"I-" Quercus's words died in her mouth as she saw Yuki look back at her.
Yuki had an unnerving stare at Quercus. "Let's just not talk about that...For the sake of everyone."
"...O-Of course."
"So, is there anything else you want to talk about? Maybe about W?"
"Her? Well she's certainly a character."
"Can't fault you for that one." He let out a slight chuckle. "That girl's always had a screw loose."
"Can she really be trusted?" Quercus voiced out yet another one of her concerns.
"She should be fine." Yuki replied. "But if she tries something. I'll deal with her. She does have those tendencies to do such things."
Her eyes softened as she heard the boy's words. "You really trust her. Don't you."
Yuki gave her a smile. "Yeah. But be careful with her. She does have a way with words."
"...Duly noted." The Cat girl stands up and offers a hand to Yuki. "You ready to head back inside?"
Just as Yuki was going to accept Quercus's hand, he hesitates for a moment before finally taking her hand. "Yeah...I cant stay sad forever." He held a strained smile on his face.

"Susie, right?" W leans over the table coming face to face with the pink cat.
"Y-Yes. That's me." Susie gulped as W's amber eyes pierced deep into her soul.
"Hmm. So how was that run-in with primal Yuki?" She gestured to Susie's bandaged body. " How'd you stop him? Surely you didn't wait it out."
"Umm...My arts device exploded." Susie Awkwardly scratched her nape with her unbandaged hand. "At least that's what I was told."
W perked up to the sound of explosions. "Explosives eh? And an arts based one at that? So what was it? A claymore? A non-lethal grenade?"
"W-What!? No! Why would I use such things?" Susie's eyes widened at the examples she was given. "No. apparently one of my drift beacon's exploded."
"Drift beacon?" The Sarkaz mercenary had a confused look on her face. "Sure they can stun someone for a second but they certainly can't knock someone experienced to the floor."
"U-Umm. I really don't know. That's all that Yuki told me."
"Oh...Hahaha."
Susie had a confused expression on her face when she saw the Sarkaz mercenary giggle to herself.
"Oh, that Yuki." W wiped a tear of laughter from her eye. "Always preparing for the worst I see." She focused her attention back to Susie. "Do you perhaps have the shards of your drift beacon?"
"Y-Yes. They're right over there."
"Now don't mind if I do." W picked up the beacons as it began to glow a slight red. After a few seconds, a wide smile grew on her face. "I can still sense his arts in this thing."
"What?" Susie had a confused expression on her face. "Yuki's arts are in that?"
"I dunno how either but his arts are certainly in these things." W placed the shards down onto the table and sat back down in front of Susie.

The front door to the pub opened up as both Quercus and Yuki walked into the building.
"Oh, you actually went inside." W greeted the two.
"Yeah. I'm here." Yuki sheepishly scratched his nape. "I'm feeling a little better."
"That's good." W gave him a pat on the back. "Now no more being depressed."
"Hey Susie, I'm sorry for...that thing."
"Its okay." Susie replied. "Though I am still a little shaken up...I know that you had no control over that."
"Thank you." Yuki slightly bowed in acceptance.
"Alright everyone! Enough of the apologies. I thought you all already made up." W spoke up, trying to break the tension in the room.
"Yes. Of course." Yuki replied.
"Good." W smiled. "Now, I have an idea on how we can deal with this mercenary issue."
"Hm?" Yuki has a surprised expression on his face. "And that is?"
"Just follow me and I'll show you the way."
