"Ahhh!!!" A girl's scream echoed throughout the halls of Rhodes Island, startling the people who were passing by. "I'm Shorry Yuki...I promish that I won't try to scam you."

"Your words dont mean squat, you blood sucking leech." Within the engineering department stood two people, one was writhing in pain as her cheeks were being pinched and pulled by another person.

The one who was getting her cheecks pinched and pulled had a large black hoodie where the inside was a deep red. Underneath her hoodie were various gadgets and tools ranging from wrenches to Allen keys to originium detectors. Her medium length black hair hid her elf like ears as her red pupils well up with tears from the pain of her cheeks being pulled.

"I promish...I pinky promish, jush pleash stop pulling my cheecks."

"What are you willing to do for me?"

"Anything! An IOU. jush call it an IOU." Closure pleaded as she began to struggle even more, flailing her arms around like a madman.

"Anything?" Yuki confirmed.

"Yesh, anything!"

"Good." Yuki released Closure from his vice grip. "I'll hold you to that."

Closure let out a sigh of relief as she as she rubbed her sore cheeks to ease the pain. "Okay okay, you can run along now."

"So hasty to get rid of me. How sad." Yuki pouted wiping a fake tear from his cheek.

"Don't lie, you only came here to enact your revenge."

"Hm?" Yuki perked up, dropping his act. "Yeah, what of it?"

"Ugh just go to sleep. It's getting late okay." Closure groaned in annoyance.

"Yeah yeah I will." Yuki promptly stood up and made his way out of the engineering department. "Make sure you get some sleep as well. I heard that you've been neglecting your sleep schedule lately."

"Yeah yeah, I'll get some sleep." She waved him off.

Yuki's head popped back into the engineering department once again. "And if you don't, I'll send Lancet to inject some random chemicals into you."

"Fine!" With another groan of annoyance, Closure shot up from her seat and walked into a room further back into the engineering department.

Yuki chuckled seeing Closure so pressed about going to sleep. 

At this point the halls of Rhodes Island were pin drop silent as the soft sound of the fluorescent lights echoed throughout the halls.

It was late at night so this was expected, it wouldn't have been too surprising if the lights were to randomly shut off due to some automatic timers, but luckily for the snake boy, he arrived to his room before such a thing happened.

However, for him, his night was far from over as a small figure came rushing to him the second, he opened the door. The small figure glomped him with a small 'pomf'.

"Heya Roomie." It was Caper, her signature mischievous grin plastered on her face. "Soooo, how was Dossoles?"

Yuki shrugged as he plopped himself onto his bed. "Pretty nice seeing the normally full streets all empty. It's pretty calming, hearing the waves crash on the shore with the escaping sun pass down the horizon."

The small cautus girl giggled as she also jumped into her bed, almost sinking fully into the plush of the mattress. "With that description, you'd be perfect for some kind of advertisement...but yeah, it is pretty calming. Especially compared to the crowded streets during peak hours."

"Caper, you wanna come to dossoles with me tomorrow?"

"Hmm~ Are you asking me out?" She giggled, placing a hand over her mouth. "I'm flattered."

"Shut up." Yuki scoffed. "Think of it as some kind of roomie bonding. Plus, you seem plenty keen to go to Dossoles."

"Okay okay, I'll take you up on that offer." She nodded before turning her back towards Yuki. "Night roomie."

"Night."

"Woah! it is just a good as they say it is." Caper looked on with wonder at the sheer scale of the artificial sea. "Coral come on! We gots to try some of the stuff around here!"

"Yeah hold up, I'm coming." Yuki weakly followed the aesthetic Cautus down the crowded boardwalk.

"Look at all these people." Stars were in her eyes as she ran across the area like a child in a candy store.

"Oi Caper don't run so far!" It was already too late as the little Cautus's figure had already disappeared through dense crowd of people with no hope of finding her. "Ahhhh god damnit..."

And once again he was left alone in the streets of Dossoles. There was nothing better to do other than to see what the rest of Dossoles has to show aside from the ocean.

"Well then..."

Aside from the ocean, Dossoles also had a plentiful array of shops for tourists to explore ranging from clothing to antiques.

However, before he could make his way to his first store, something caught his eye. A man walking in a brisk pace making a sharp turn into an alleyway. He was characterized by his white hoodie that concealed a large sword with his blonde hair that hid his dog-like ears.

Yuki's eyes narrowed with suspicion as he filtered through the crowd to investigate, passing through the people, his interest grew. There was no way he could definitively say that this person was doing anything bad but there was certainly a feeling that nagged at the back of his mind.

And then as he arrived at the alleyway, he cautiously peeked from the corner of the alleyway. The man was finishing up a conversation with another person however they were completely obscured by a door. Their brief conversation ended with the main person that Yuki was following being handed a black box.

As the two parted ways, the man with a box began to walk out from the alleyway. Yuki felt his pulse quicken as the man grew closer towards him. Yuki took an instinctive step back as he felt this intense pressure from this person.

From underneath the man's hood, his turquoise eyes seemed as if it glowed as he stared right into Yuki's eyes seeming as if it pierced right into his soul.

"Oi!" A hand slapped Yuki on the back of the head and when he spun around to see who had slapped him, the cheeky smile of Caper greeted his eyes. "What'chya doing staring off into a creepy alley. You were so slow I had to run back to catch you."

"Oh, sorry. I was just zoning out." The Pythian boy's eyes scanned the crowd for the man to no avail.

"Well quit zoning out and enjoy the Dossoles lifestyle!" Caper dragged him by the hand and pulled him towards the ocean.
