"Somebody left Crate 1 - 7 in a empty lot as Rhodes Island departed for Columbia?" Yuki couldn't help but smirk as he heard the explanation from Vigna.
"What's so funny?" Vigna raised an eyebrow. "I don't think that leaving a storage crate is that funny."
"It's just that this is the third time I've heard this specific crate being left behind." Yuki chuckled as he closed the trunk of the truck. "Guess the Orirock in this thing must hate you eh?"
"Maybe this crate is cursed." Vigna let out a light chuckle as she took a seat in the passenger seat of the truck.
"Maybe, just maybe." Yuki chuckled in return as he sat in the backseat with Utage.
"Ugh...Can you not talk about curses and stuff." Utage felt a slight chill go down her spine as she slightly shivered. "It's givin me the creeps."
"Ooh, is someone scared of a little fairytale?" Yuki let out a hearty laugh as he gave a nudge on her side. "Lemme tell you one."
"P-Please don't!" Utage said, straining her voice in a high-pitched tone. "You're gonna give me nightmares."
"What are you a child? You can take it." Yuki snickered. "One stormy night-"
"Ugh LALALA. I can't hear you." Utage covered her ears as she tried to focus her attention to the view outside the car.
"Hiyah!" Yuki sent a jab to Utage's side, causing her to jump up in pain.
"Hey! You didn't have to jab me so hard!" Utage pouted as she began to punch Yuki lightly on the arm.
"Yes I did."
"No you didn't!"
In the driver seat of the car, sat a slightly irritated Frostleaf. She turned over to Vigna who was intently watching the two banter in the backseat.
"Vigna, can you deal with them. I can hear them over my music." Frostleaf whispered to the Sarkaz girl.
"Do I really have to?" Vigna sighed. "I was enjoying the show."
"It hasn't even been five minutes and I'm getting a headache."
"Fine." Vigna sighed once again before turning back to look at the two troublemakers in the backseat. "Can you two keep it down."
"You're not my mom. You can't tell me anything." Utage crossed her arms in defiance before facing Yuki. "C'mon tell her."
"..." Yuki simply stared at her with a deadpanned expression. "What are you a rebellious child?"
"Wha-"
"Alright, that's enough." Vigna spoke up before Utage could cause an even bigger scene. "How about we lighten the mood. Yeah?"
"And how do we suppose we do that?"
"Dunno, let's tell some stories about our past."
"Ooh, okay." Utage nodded her head in approval as she crossed her arms. "I'll start."
"So back when I was in school. Just after I transferred to a Lungmen school from Higashi. For the first few weeks, there was this one boy just wouldn't leave me alone. I dunno why but he would always ask me how my day was and always asked to sit with me at lunch."
"Oh, so he had the hots for you eh?" Yuki gave Utage a playful nudge on the side.
Utage's eyes flashed a look of confusion before it clicked. "He did? Huh...That makes so much sense."
"You didnt't know that?" Vigna had a dumbstruck look on face. "I thought you were gonna go on about your first romance."
"No I was gonna go on about how after a while he just stopped talking to me." Utage clarified. "Yeah, whenever we would meet in the hallway after, he would just try to avoid me."
