"What!?" Blue poision's voice echoed out throughout the empty room, her eyes widened in shock. "Dr Kalt'sit, are you sure?" Her voice returned to being a normal tone.

"Yes. I am very sure." She replied robotically. "If anything goes wrong, I have the antivenom." Kalt'sit held up a vial of clear liquid.

"Hold up." Yuki interjected. "First off you should know that the Anura's poison is one of the few things that we Bivirgatus cannot resist."

"Bivirgatus?" Blue poison glanced at Yuki. "I thought you were a race of savage killers. But there's no way that you.."

"We are...But not always." Yuki clarified. "Back then, you Anura were one of the few races that could effectively deal with us when we lost it."

"So it wasn't just a story." Blue poison looked down as she rubbed her chin. "But Dr Kalt'sit, why do you want us to do this experiment? You already know the answer."

"No I don't." She pulled out a clipboard. "Coral, remember what happened when you first came to Rhodes Island?"

"Yeah, why?"

"You said that your arts had been able to absorb the seaborn's necrotic venom." She stated. "You see, I had a theory...Blue poison. You have also had your fair share of run ins with the seaborns. You should know where I am going with this. Correct?"

The Anurian girl simply nodded as it clicked in her head. "Are you suggesting that because Coral had absorbed the seaborn's venom...His arts may have taken some attributes from the seaborns?"

"Correct. And with this possibility, we could see if his arts can change and adapt to different situations. Just like how a seaborn is capable of evolving and changing drastically in a short span of time."

"You want to see if my arts can adapt and change to overcome the anura's poison?" Yuki spoke up. "I think you've got a few screws loose Kal. I know my arts better than anyone else. I think I would realize it when my arts change."

"Or maybe you've never forced your arts to the point where it needs to adapt." Kalt'sit sharply replied. "Coral, if you feel that you are not up to the task, I can postpone the experiment indefinately."

"I never said I wouldn't do it" He retorted as he threw his arms up in resignation. "Blue poison. Do you mind if you gave me some of your poison?"

"Coral...Are you sure?" Blue poison looked up at him with a worried expression.

"Yup, I'm sure...And if I die....I'll haunt Kalt'sit for the rest of eternity." He chuckled.

After a few seconds of hesitating, Blue poison finally relented and gave up, digging into her pocket and pulling out a vial of blue liquid, handing it to Yuki.

"Got a seringe ooor you just want me to down it?" Yuki held the vial up to Kalt'sit.

"Of course I have a seringe." She turns around and rummages through on of the drawers, pulling out a seringe. "Give it here, I'll inject it into you."

Yuki tossed the vial at Kalt'sit before she expertely extracted the poison from the vial. "Coral, give me your arm."

Yuki obliged as he held out his arm. Kalt'sit hastily stuck the seringe into his arm as Blue poison was looking on from behind in a cold sweat.

Instantly the pain began to sear into his arm as it travelled down his bloodstream, going down his arm and into the rest of his body. He let out a groan of pain as the poison began to do its work on him.

"Kalt'sit! I told you it wouldn't work." Blue poison grabbed the antivenom but was stopped midway as she heard Yuki.

"Hold up. We haven't done the test yet." Yuki said through clentched teeth as he placed a few fingers onto the forearm that was injected with the venom. A green glow emitted from his fingertips as the green glow could be seen slowly moving down his veins as it rode down his bloodstream.
