"Lyudmila, what stands before you is a being cursed with the heavenly sin of Gluttony. Flee and cower as I devour the world to find you, for you have gained the attention of the Pythian Hunter, for you shall have received the gift of the Bivirgatus."

*HISSSSSSSSSSSS*

A sharp hissing sound resounded out to the surrounding area. The hissing sounded as if a gas was escaping from a highly pressurized container.

"What did you do?" Lyudmila narrowed her eyes as she gripped her daggers even tighter.

"Oh I just gave you a little present." Yuki said as a mist began to flow from his mouth. "Hold your breath~. You're gonna need it." Yuki smiled as the mist began to flow not only from his mouth but also flowed from the sharp edge of his Scythe.

"Don't get too cocky now." Lyudmila's piercing red eyes began to glow as a thick fog began to pour out from her.

Soon enough the entire area was once again covered in a thick fog.

Yuki stood there, eyes closed as he pointed his scythe into the distance, closely tracking something as it ran across the area.

"There's no use in hiding my friend." Yuki chuckled. "I don't need to see you to find you now."

Yuki launched himself into the grey abyss of the fog as he collided directly into Lyudmilla, blowing the air out of her lungs as she stumbled onto her back.

"Ugh, you really know how to hit someone where it hurts." She coughed out as she stumbled back to her feet and tried to slash Yuki across his face. However, despite knowing she could go even faster, she physically wasn't able to do so. It was as if she was being held back by something. Before she could know it, Yuki had already dodged and was ready to send another kick to her sternum.

*Slam!*

She had managed to block the brunt of the impact with her arms, but little did she know that Yuki's tail was also incoming as it slammed right into her side, once again blowing the air out from her lungs.

"Feel the Hunter's venom." Yuki slowly walked over towards Lyudmila with a wicked toothy grin on his face. "Get up."

"You..." She coughed once again. "You're toying with me aren't you?"

"Maybe...But don't hate me for it." Yuki chuckled. "I can't help it...Especially after turning recently."

"You're sick." The red haired Lupo jumped up and kicked Yuki in the face, using the momentum to disappear into the fog once again.

It didn't take long for Yuki to recover as he wasted no time catching up to Lyudmila. As soon as Lyudmila saw Yuki, she took a complete 180 and began to run into the opposite direction.

However...for a hunter to catch their prey, they must be more capable for their prey.

*SLAM!*

Yuki tackled Lyudmila to the floor, sending them both tumbling down into the dirt. Their tumbling ends with Yuki having her pinned to the floor.

"Surrender." Yuki's eyes narrowed.

Lyudmila didn't say anything, instead, continuing to try and break out of his grip, however the more she struggled, the louder the hissing became as more mist began to flow from Yuki.

"The more you breathe, the weaker you become...Soon enough you'll be paralysed." Yuki's obsidian eyes glowed with a predator's desire hidden beneath.

"...Okay" Lyudmila gives up the struggle, going limp. "I concede."

"Release the fog." Yuki's grip remained tightly on Lyudmila. "Do it and I'll stop the poison gas."

"Fine..." The area began to clear up as the fog dispersed into nothingness as did the poison gas.

Yuki looked into the distance, seeing everyone speeding back towards Yuki's direction at full speed.

"Guess they really wanted to keep a close eye, eh?" Yuki chuckled before turning to Lyudmila. "Promise you won't run?"

"Yeah I'm all T'd out." Lyudmila sighed. "I won't run."

"Good." Yuki said as he got off of Lyudmila and sat beside her. "So... Wanna talk about it?"

"Not really." She awkwardly scratched her nape.

"Thought so-"

"Cooooooorallll!!" Utage jumped out from the rushing car, promptly face planting into the sand below. "Ow....Should have thought about that one hehe."

"Coral. Are you okay?" Vigna stepped out of the car like how a normal person would and sat down next to Yuki. "And... What's she doing here still awake?"

"Gave up." Lyudmila replied.

"Gave up? that's it?" Frostleaf stood over Lyudmila, looking her up and down. "You sure you aren't stalling for time?"

"To hell with stalling. That's so boring." Lyudmila sighed. "I lost. That's all. Plus, the plan wasn't to kill you. We were supposed to 'send a message'...Like whatever that means."

"Send a message?" Yuki raised an eyebrow. "What would the reunion want with Rhodes Island?"

"Beats me." She shrugged. "I told you already; I was following orders." Lyudmila began to sit up, stretching her arms. "You gonna let me go or take me into custody?"

"Well, we can't really let you go. I think our little Kalt'sit would love to question you." Utage poked Lyidmila on the head.

Lyudmila's ears perked up at the sound of Kalt'sit's name being mentioned. "Kalt'sit?...Take me in. I also have some questions for her."

"Well that certainly makes it easier." Utage looked over towards Yuki.

"It sure does...Doesnt it?" Yuki shrugged. "guess you're stuck with us for a bit now."
