"Okay everyone, we packed everything?" Frostleaf said as she got into the driver seat of the car. "We wouldn't want to drive back."

"Yup, we've got everything. We're good to go." Utage gave her a thumbs up of approval from the back seat.

"Cantabile, are you sure you want to sit there?" Frostleaf turned her attention to the Liberi girl who had decided to sit in the middle seat in the back.

"Yes, I am sure. I will be fine." She replied.

"Okay." The Vulpo turned to Vigna who sat in the passenger seat. "You ready?"

"Yup."

"Alright, lets head off then."

And just like that, the group was already off to make the final stretch to make the delivery to Rhodes Island.

{ - Adventures Across Terra - }

"Crownslayer, the targets are on the move again. Let's move out."

The reunion leader only gave a nod of acknowledgement as a reply. "Tell everyone else we're moving out in 5."

"Roger that." The grunt rushes off into the distance.

Crownslayer is left again with her thoughts as she stared blankly into a phone that showed an aerial view of a car as it raced down the barren lands. "Yuki...Why'd you have to be in that group."

{ - Adventures Across Terra - }

A couple days have passed as it was a rather foggy morning for the group. the fog was so thick that any amount of light would do nothing to break through.

"We're gonna have to stop here." Vigna said as she pulled over to the side of the road.

"Okay. Let's just stay put for a bit until the fog clears up." Frostleaf said as she kept a keen eye out on the fog ahead of them.

For a few minutes the car was only filled with the melodic sounds of Cantabile playing the Kalimba as everyone else in the car sat in silence as they enjoyed the music. However, the melodies from the kalimba came to an abrupt stop as Cantabile's head twisted to the right as her eyes narrowed.

"Someone's here." She said quietly.

"Someone's here?" Yuki said as he sat up and looked out the window. "I'll go investigate. You all stay here. If anything goes wrong, leave me here. I can handle it."

"Oi you can't-" Utage was cut off by the sound of the car door slamming as he walked out into the fog. "Ugh my he's gonna be the death of us." She groaned.

In the fog, Yuki was silently circling the car to look out for anything, or to be more specific, to see if he could smell whatever was in the fog. It was deathly silent, not a single sound could be heard. No birds, no wind, no footsteps. Despite the silence, the faint scent of multiple people was made known to Yuki.

Yuki hastily tapped on the window of the car, prompting door to swing wide open, knocking Yuki off his feet and onto his butt.

"Oi! It's me Yuki." Yuki rubbed his head in pain.

"Oh, sorry hehe." Utage chuckled awkwardly.

"Yeah about that someone, there's multiple someone's out there."

"There is-"

*Howl*

As if on cue, the howl of a wolf broke the silence as an arrow shot past Yuki's head and imbeded itself into the side of the car.

"Woah!" Utage jumped back, falling into the car as the arrow hit the car.

"Everyone, prepare for combat." Frostleaf said as she got out of the car and grabbed her halberd.
