Chapter 3 games with the gunners

Katie bursts through her own front door, leaving us all to turn as she walks in. Dramatic entrance. She is holding 2 cases of beer And a bag of something, I have a feeling its just more alcohol. The Irish starts saying loudly "ladies IM BACK, let's have some fun." We all smile and cheer. Katie puts the stuff down and walks over to me "Alex good to see you could make it I kinda wanted to make it like a welcome party but didn't quite get there I know most the girls are here to get to know you more" I smile at the Irish woman's words. "That's really sweet Katie thank you, I can't remember the last time I had a party for me" she looks shocked "what about your birthday? You must if had a 21st!" I shake my head "no last party I had was when I was 13" she still looks shocked "well I'm going to make this party the best you've ever been to" I smile at her words again "thank you Katie it really means a lot" she shrugs "it's no problem your my mate now I gotta look out for you" she pulls me into a hug, I don't often get hugs so I was a little surprised but hug back just happy to get a hug. We stand like that for a minute before letting go "thanks Katie I really needed that hug. I don't often get hugs" she looks surprised "Really? Your hugs are awesome!" I chuckle. "Glad you like them" she gives me a small hug and I can't stop smiling, I've been here at Arsenal for a few hours but I already know it's home.Katie runs off somewhere but returns shortly after beer in hand. I smile and look at Leah who gives me the thumbs up to say she will drive and won't drink. She says "go nuts Alex" I give her a small nod then take the beer and start drinking with Katie not no much just yet, I normally don't drink so it's a rare occasion. Katie starts talking so I walk over to Beth mead and Viv who are in the corner just talking. Beth spots me "Aussie! Glad you could come , join us" I smile and join conversation "thanks I'm happy to be here. It's been a long but nice day" viv smile "I bet , you definitely surprised us. I'm just glad we don't have to play against you anymore your good" I laugh "just wait for the World Cup" Beth cuts in "we all know England's going to win" I look at viv and we both say "do we really tho?" Beth pouts a little as viv and i high five.

I've been talking to the couple for the past few minutes when viv says "Hey Alex who did you end up moving in with or did you get your own place?" I smile thinking about who I'm now living with "Leah, I'm living with Leah" Beth noticed my smile and goes "ooooo someone has the hots for the England captain" I elbow her softly "no she just nice to me I'm happy to live with someone, it gets lonely by your self" beth looks at me suspiciously "jeez when was the last time you lived with others?" My smile disappears as she asks the dreaded questions "I um thats um-" viv cuts me off "you don't have to tell us I think it's nice you like living with people" she then says sarcastically "can we swap" I laugh and Beth has an offended look on her face looking at her girlfriend. "Nope she's all your" Beth sticks her tongue out at viv "haha your stuck with me" she then turns to me "sorry if I made you uncomfortable" I smile again "it's alright , touchy topic for another day" she smiles and excepts that answer. I do my laps and have another beer making sure not to go through them to fast. I get back to Caitlin , Katie and Steph. Stephs the first to notice me "Al your back heard you rooming with Williamson" she gives me a wink "yes I am she's super nice" Caitlin chuckles a little "omg this just gets better and better, you get so embarrassed you can hardly speak how are you going to live with her" I elbow her harder then Beth she lets out a quick "ow" as I glare here down as Caitlin remembers she just dropped the bomb in front of Katie McCabe who is look at me wide eyed "omg do you actually have feelings for Williamson?" She whispered I roll my eyes "it was more like a celebrity crush but I will have to get over it as she my teammate now. And I live with her those feelings need to go" Katie looks at me confused "why do you have to get rid of the feelings just don't act on them, Arsenal is the team with most in team couples you might get lucky" she says and winks at me. I roll my eyes jokingly I already know Katie and I are going to get on really well.
I talk a bit more before excusing myself to the bathroom.
