Alex pov.
It's been 9 long months and I'm still out for a month we month witch is pretty good considering my injury. I now have a ugly scar on my knee, I'm surprised they where even able to repair it. I love Leah more than life it's self, today Leah is playing in a friendly against Manchester city and I'll be in the crowd like normal supporting her and hoping to see Lani. Lani knows I'm attending so I can't wait to see how that goes down everyone has been so supportive my entire length of my injury and I'm back to training with the team.I can't believe I will be able to play again in a month. The past months has been exhausting. It broke my heart the Australia came 4th in the commonwealth games and we didn't get a medal again, I was a commentator for a few games because I couldn't play. It was still nice seeing fans show up in my jersey. I talked to Amanda who I have gotten on well with over the past months and she has said she has never seen Leah they way she is with me with others.While I can't play I watch from the ground and pick up on different pros and cons from the crowds perceptive. We told the media we where dating at our 6 month mark. Amanda and I are just watching as the girls stand arm in arm singing there song, the girls seperate after and go to there spots as the coin is flipped. Just watching Leah stand there on the pitch deep in thought just fills me with love. All I can do in this moment is look towards her with love hearts in my eyes.Amanda just looks at me weird "Alex sweetheart are you ok your staring into space?" I nod "yeah just thinking" she nods "what about?" I smile "one day I will ask your daughter to marry me, I want to grow old with her. Everything about her makes me happy I know she's the one. I don't know when but I just know I will" I can't help the smile on my face just grows as amanda just smirks and hugs me, after a minute she lets go and says "Leah loves you like no other, whenever you ask her know you have my blessing. Something was different about you from the start, she wanted us to meet you a month in instead of 3+ months you are special and I see from the look in her eyes she would say yes in a heart beat."I smile "thanks amanda, I will do everything in my power to have her the happiest girl alive" she. Just smiles "you already do even if you asked her to marry you in a compost bin with no ring she would still be Happy, just by being with you she is happy" I shake my head and laugh "Amanda you going to make me cry" she gives me a hug "we can't have you crying right now can we" I shake my head "no we can't, on a different note 10 pounds Caitlin scores before Viv" she smirks "10 pounds beth scores before both of them" I shake her hand "your on" in the 33 minutes Leah makes a beautiful big pass to Caitlin who makes a run from the 30 meter mark long story short she scores and the stadium bursts into cheers. I jump screaming "Yes Caitlin! Haha yes!" She runs by and gives me a thumbs up. I smile and turn to amanda and she pulls out her purse and hands me 10 pounds. I take it with a smirk on my face. The rest of the game I don't really pay attention well I do just to Leah, they way she moves with them ball, her game face every single thing about her is perfect. She has now pushed up to a midfielder position. The half time whistle comes and goes and soon the second half resumes. At the 78 minute mark Leah makes a run and shoots from about 25 meters out. It flings through the air and whips into the back of the net. I jump and scream hands the air, my darling did so well. Leah runs around celebrating until Jordan stops her, I know her and Jordan have history but she is over her and Jordan is moving at the end of the season. All of a sudden Jordan leans and I kisses her, I feel my heart shatter in my chest as amanda just hugs me and Lani comes running across the pitch pushing Jordan off Leah. The kiss might of been just for a second but it felt like time stoped, Leah just stands there i can't read her face. Lani can be seen screaming at Jordan on the big tv and I can only assume it's for me. I see Leah turn and looks at me but right now all I feel is betrayal, I feel tears threatening to fall. Caitlin now runs over glaring Jordan down but holding Lani back from doing anything stupid, Caitlin can just be seen saying something to Jordan but the way she looks at her she's not happy. Chaos breaks out on the pitch. Most the girls from city who I have grow to be friends with are yelling at Jordan some Leah and the Arsenal girls can't look at her(Jordan).Mary Fowler can be seen having firm words with Leah. I let go of amanda and say "I'm sorry I have to go, I need a moment. If Leah asks I will be at home." She nods understanding and lets me go I look up to the big screen one last time to see it pan to my face, it looks to be written with betrayal, hurt and pain, my eyes have tears welled up in but I refuse to let them fall. The camera flicks back to Leah who is looking in my direction with confusion written all over her face, I just stand up and leave. I make my way past a few fans before I get security to walk me to my car.I get to my car and just drive, it isn't that far but the trip feels like forever.
