Chapter 2 home arrangements

Alex Pov
I have talked to all the girls more and they are loving. It's been 30 minutes since last interaction with Leah but I can feel her perfect blue eyes on me every now and again, it takes so much effort not to blush. I barley  know the woman I can't be this excited. The locker room is full of laughter and I quickly learn one of the rules if your phone rings you have to answer on speaker. McCabe was not happy to do this but she had to one her sister Called. The way they interacted was very wholesome and it made me think back to when my brother would call me at training, I had a small smile at the memory but it quickly reminded my self that was one of our last calls. I zone out a little at the thought of my brother and just stand staring off into the distance. I don't know how long I zone out until I feel a soft hand on my shoulder and there is Leah. "Alex hun you zoned out a bit and we've called your names a few times, every alright?" A soft blush appears on my face when she said hun. I just softly smile back at her "yeah no I'm alright just thinking I can't believe I'm here" I say not telling the full truth but it seems to convince almost everyone. Leah gives me a confused look but decides to drop it. We stand like that for a second before she removes her hand from my shoulder. She walks back a plonks back down in between Beth and viv. Caitlin hugs me again "I'm so happy your here, if I just realised we have the next 2 days off . You came at the perfect time" I smile "I guess I just got to figure out where I'm living" she looks confused "you haven't been assigned a house yet?" I shake my head "nope I gotta talk Jonas about it" Caitlin smiles "ya know you got to live with one of us right?" I nod slowly "yeah I just got to figure out who" Caitlin and I talk for a few more minutes before the girls start to clear out to go home until it was only me and Leah left in the locker room.

She looks at me and says "do you know where Jonas office is I can show you" the only thing I didn't see on the tour was his office so I had no clue where it is so I happily take on the offer "yeah that would be lovely thank you Leah.I thought you would want to go home?" She smiles "nah I love this place to much, want to stoke it all in before the next few days off" I smile at her reasoning as it shows time and time again , she's a gunnner through and through. We walk around HQ keeping in step with another until we reach a foot which says "coach JONAS" she smiles "we are here. Tonight all the girls are having dinner with Katie if you want to join?" I smile "that would be nice I just got to figure out where I'm living" I chuckle to my self. She sends me another soft smile "alright once you finish doing that message me to tell me if your coming yeah?" She hands me a piece of paper with a number on in I just smile and nod as she turns on her heel and walks out. I look at the number in my hands and just put it in my pocket, that girl really is something else I just think about how the day has been and I'm happy with how it's played out" I knock on Jonas's door a I hear a come in so I slowly open the door the see he staring back at me with a smile. "Ah Alex what can I do for you?" I run the back of my neck slightly "sorry to bother but I don't know where I'm going to live and I was told that would be sort out" he chuckles "that's what I forgot to tell you, as you know you have to live with a teammate unless you live with someone else already or move out." I nod slowly as he continues "most the girls already have people living with them so I asked around and only 2 people didn't have people living with them. So I chose what I fought would be the best option." I still nod waiting for him to tell me who it was "I just called her before you left as she was getting in the car to make sure it was still alright but for the next 3 years you will be living with Leah Williamson"  he hands me a key. I just smile" thanks Jonas" we say farewell as I walk out and sit in my car. Taking everything about today in. I'm a gunner, I meet Leah I will LIVE with her. SHE GAVE ME HER NUMBER.

I fiddle with the paper now in my hand and create a new contact in my phone. I quickly call her. It rings a little she probably won't pick up it's a random number. She picks up then
L- "hello?"
Me-"hi Leah it's Alex I've just been informed I'm going to be living with you, I um is it alright if I head over to your place" I hear her giggle and that haves my heart flutter a little
L- "Of course you can some over it's your home now to. I had a feeling this would happen so I cleaned up the house a bit. Do you have the address?" I smile at her words your home
Me- "yeah Jonas gave me all that info are you sure it's alright?"
L- "it's more than alright, it gets a bit lonely some times. It's your home 2."
Me- "thank you Leah , I'll be there in about 15?"
L- "sound perfect see ya then bye"
Me-"bye" I hang up and let out a sigh I didn't know I was even carrying. If just speaking To the woman made me nervous how am I going to live with her. Cait will never let me live this down. I start the car and drive off it only takes 10 minutes to get there and Leah has a beautiful house. I just stand and take everything in this is my new home.

I take suitcase and bag out the the boot of the car this is all my stuff, I lock the car and walk up the the front door and just as I'm about to try open the door Leah was there already opening it for me. "Hey welcome make your self at home is that all you got?" I smile "thank you again Leah, yep that's all of it" she smiles and steps out the way to let me in. I smile and step inside , taking my shoes off at the door. "Um Leah where do I put my stuff?" She chuckle. That laugh would make anyone melt. "Should give you a tour shouldn't I?" We make our way around the house and then go up the stairs there are only 2 rooms upstairs and a corridor on each end is a room. Leah turns left so do I. It get to the room and she opens the door, I see a bed neatly made a wardrobe and a few other things I smile at it. "Well Alex this is your room sorry if it's not much" my eyes widen "this is amazing, the room is so big!" Leah laughs "glad you like it, sorry I snagged the master bedroom when I moved in but you can use my bathroom anytime, or the one down stairs I don't mind. My rooms just at the other end of the corridor give me a shout if you need anything" sh pats my shoulder and walks out. Towards her room. I smile and just unpack my stuff into the closet. I don't have much so it doesn't take long.

After a few minutes I just sit in the bed and I don't know what to do now, I get a message on my phone. Caitlin. As I'm about to answer she calls. I pick up.
Me- "hello? Cait?"
C-" Al? Hello! Did you find a place to live?"
Me- "yeah Jonas has me living with Williamson she's a very lovely lass" I can hear Caitlin giggle
C-" so your telling me you have to live with her and you can't even have a conversation with her without turning into a tomato, hahah."
Me- "oi, she's nice and the house it's huge I didn't expect it"
C- "I've never been to Leah's, are you going to Katie's tonight?"
Me- "probably I just got to find something causal to wear"
C- "haha alright don't take to long all the girls already know you will probably take a bit to set up, see ya Al" she hangs up And I just smile at my phone I'm so thankful my best friend lives close by. I look up to the door fame to see Leah leaning against it the light from window shadowing her cheekbones perfectly.
"Who was that?" She asks I smile "just Caitlin asking if I'm going to Katie's" Leah smile "I forgot about that just wear something casual, I'll drive us there" I look at her confused "thanks but I didn't think you would want to drive me around" she laughs "one of us will have a drink or too you can't escape it when it's Katie McCabe one of us has to be able to drive home aye?" I laugh "I guess thanks" Leah turns to exit and get ready. I don't take long only about 5 minutes to get a nice out fit and get changed. Tracksuit pants, baggy T-shirt and a Arsenal hoodie. I go to knock in Leah's door to she how she going as she opens the door. I stand there very awkwardly "I'm sorry I was just going to see if you are ready" she smiles at me "I was going to do the same let's go" I don't think she realised but she grabbed my hand and started leading out to the car, butterflies explode in my stomach.we get into Leah's car and her in the drivers seat. I turn to her "you look nice" she was wearing basically the same thing as me hoodie , trackys and a baggy shirt. She smile "you do as well I think you wore it best tho" a small red flushes my face and we just stare into each others eyes. She's the first to turn and drive, just starts playing music. We sit in comfortable silence. I don't know what it is about her but it just makes me feel safe.

About 10 minutes later we pull up to a house and there are lots of cars there we both get out and knock of the front door. The door opens to reveal a happy Steph "come in Katie's just gone on a beer run" we step inside I see Caitlin and immediately walk over .   "Bestie time" Caitlin yells as she see me. We talk until Katie gets back.
