Chapter - 6 Bestfriends' Reunion

ANAYRA'S POV

I woke up at 9 a.m in the morning when mom came into my room to check my injury.

"Shall we go to the doctor?" She asked sitting at the corner of the bed with slight concern visible on her face.

"No mom, I am fine now. It's just a minor sprain. Nothing to worry about." I replied taking out the bandage from my leg.

"Okay then. Get up and come downstairs for breakfast." She said getting up from the bed.

"Is Ahana up?" I asked when mom was making her way outside the room.

"Bhaisaab tried to wake her, twice, but she didn't even buldge. Now only Didi will wake her up." She said shaking her head and I chuckled. Ahana loves two things most in this world- Parties and Sleep.

I brushed my teeth and took a long shower before going downstairs for breakfast. When I came out of the bathroom, Ahana was laying on my bed on her stomach with her legs up in the air.

"Did Badi Maa scold you or threaten to ground you for making you wake up?" I asked in a mocking tone.

She glared at me before replying "Shut up! I am already pissed off. GODDD! I am so sleepy right now! Aghhh!" She put her head on the pillow before groaning.

"I think I should take classes from Badi Maa on -How to Control Ahana?" I said and she threw a pillow at me being annoyed making me laugh. I just love teasing her.

"Kutti! Chal ab bta kal party mei kya hua tha?" (Bitch! Now tell me what happened at the party yesterday?) She said before turning towards one side resting her face on her elbow.

I sighed before speaking "Natasha spiked Kush's drink." I said making her eyes widened.

"WHAT THE FUCK?? SERIOUSLY?" She said sitting up on the bed with pure shock written on her face.

"Yeah!" I said taking a seat beside her.

"How did you know that?" She asked surprisingly.

"Remember when you went to the restroom to clean your dress?" I asked and she nodded. "I was coming to the restroom looking for you when I overheard Priya and Natasha talking about spiking someone's drink." I continued and told her everything. Her face only showed one emotion- Shock.

"Mujhe ye toh pata tha ki vo kamini Kush k piche padi hai par ye nahi socha tha ki aisa kuch bhi kar degi behen ki lo-" (I knew that she was behind Kush but I never knew that bitch would stoop to so low) She said but stopped cursing her in the middle trying to calm herself down.

"Well, good thing that she wasn't able to do anything because her plan was flopped." I said with a smirk on my face and Ahana looked at me before saying "Wait! So you didn't fall accidentally?"

"Nope! I DID hurt my ankle accidentally, though." I said pointing towards my ankle. "Thank God I reached there on time Ahana otherwise who knows what could have happened?" I said further before laying down.

"But you could have told me or Kush. It's not like we wouldn't have believed you." She said and I could see how serious she was.

"I didn't want to create a scene there you know. After all, it was a big day for Kavya. And on the top of that, Natasha would have refused that she didn't do anything because I didn't have any proof against her. Also, Priya was the one to pass the drink to Kush so if I would have told you guys then everyone might had doubted her not Natasha and Priya being a naive girl would have put the blame on herself." I told her and she nodded.
