Everything seemed blurry to my eyes, my ears turned deaf and the only thing that was ringing in my ears again & again was that Kush had been attacked.
My man has been attacked!
Panic rushed into my body and my hands began to shiver. This can't be possible. Maybe it's a misunderstanding. Kush is a fucking trained sports player and he has atleast four bodyguards hanging around himself all the time. He knows how to protect himself then how the fuck did he get hurt?

Rosie tapped my shoulder a bit and I came out of my trance.
"Rosie, are you sure that it was Kush who has been attacked?"
"Yes ma'am! I just got a call from his secretary Vikram and he informed me that Malhotra sir was attacked in the morning today."
"Where is he?"
"Sir is at his penthouse only. The doctor-"
"Cancel the rest of my meetings for today."
I cut her off and grabbing my phone & car keys, I ran out of my office.
I hurriedly made my way towards the parking lot and got settled in my car while two of my security cars were following me. I didn't have time to dismiss them so I let them follow me.
My adreline rush was at it's peak and my heart was racing wildly. I accelerated the speed more caring less about breaking the rules as my mind was occupied with his thoughts.
The image of him laying there unconscious surrounded by blood flashed in front of my eyes and I increased the speed. Calm down Nyra! He's safe! I kept reassuring myself while my heart was filled with fear.

I was continuously praying to the God to keep him safe and within ten minutes, I reached his penthouse.
I got down from the car and throwing the keys towards one of my guards, I rushed for the elevator. Entering inside the elevator, I waited for it to reach the twentieth floor while continuously tapping my foot on the floor.
The elevator opened and I ran towards his penthouse. The door was already open and a few police officers were inspecting around the living hall.
My eyes fell on the blood on the floor near the kitchen cabinet and I felt my heart coming out of my chest.
