"Hyung! Why can't we get this chair? It looks so adorable~" Sunoo whined, clinging to Sunghoon's arm, his big, shining puppy eyes and pouty lips pleading with his boyfriend.
Sunghoon sighed, shaking his head as he gently flicked Sunoo's forehead. "I've already told you, Sunoo-ya, I want a comfortable chair, not a cute one with those weird bunny ears. It looks too childish."
"But the chair you choose looks so... how should I say it?" Sunoo pondered for a moment. "Ah, yes! It looks so ordinary and boring!" The staff standing beside them side eyed Sunoo.
Sunghoon coughed to get the staff's attention. "Give us a minute, please."
He then led the whiny Sunoo to a corner where they could talk without the staff's judgmental eyes on them.
"What is it, hyung? I want to look for more furniture for your apartment!" Sunoo's excitement over choosing furniture for his boyfriend's small apartment in Busan, where he'd be staying during his university life, was evident and it made him look like an excited child in sunghoon's eyes.
Sunghoon chuckled at Sunoo's enthusiasm. "We can buy everything you want, love. But when it comes to furniture, it should be comfortable and convenient. Don't just go for how they look; consider how useful they are."
Sunoo tilted his head slightly, listening to Sunghoon's words. "Sorry, hyung. I was just so excited. It's my first time buying furniture like this. The staff or my mom always handled it before."
"Well, that's not a problem," Sunghoon assured him with a gentle smile. "And I think we should get both chairs-one for each of us." Sunoo nodded with a beautiful smile adoring his face.
Sunoo and Sunghoon walked hand in hand on the streets of Busan after selecting their furniture. "Sun, you want some ice cream?" Sunoo nodded, his smile growing wider. "Yep!"
Sunghoon grinned. "Wait for me here; I'll get the ice creams for us."
He returned, practically jogging, holding two ice cream cups in each hand. "Here's your mint choco, my beautiful prince." Sunghoon handed Sunoo his ice cream, who accepted it with giggles. "Thank you."
The couple settled down near the lake, savoring their ice creams and the gentle summer evening breeze. "Hyung, you should try mint choco once; it's really good," Sunoo insisted, taking another spoonful of his ice cream.
"Oh, hell no, thank you," Sunghoon looked disgusted just by the mere thought of eating mint choco, "I don't want to try paste mixed with chocolate" he continued teasing sunoo as he took a big bite out of his ice cream.
"Hmph, you don't deserve to eat mint choco anyways!" Sunoo huffed, taking another big bite of his ice cream, eating it like an angry kitten.
Sunghoon couldn't help but smile, admiring the love of his life. Sunoo was the only person who made him feel sane in this crazy world. Sunoo was the first person to love him this way after his mother had passed away. Sunoo meant so much to him, if not everything.
