Present day...Sunghoon coughed, his throat dry, making it hard for him to speak. He tried pushing himself up on the bed, groaning in pain as he felt a stinging sensation in his arms and shoulders. Blinking his eyes multiple times to fix his blurry vision, he realised the room was dark, and the only sound was the beeping of machines echoing in the room. This wasn't where he was supposed to be, right? He vividly remembered falling asleep while texting Sunoo.
Attempting to get off the bed, his legs felt like jelly, giving up on him as he tumbled to the floor with a loud thud. A groan of pain escaped him as the impact pulled the IV needle out of his veins. Eyes widened in horror, he witnessed a heavy flow of blood staining the white floor. Frozen in place, he didn't know what to do to stop the bleeding.
The door to the room swung open, revealing a nurse whose eyes widened in horror. She screamed, calling for backup, and Sunghoon's doctor rushed in. Grabbing Sunghoon's bleeding arm, he covered the injured vein with cotton, urging him to calm down to prevent the blood flow from worsening. Sunghoon stared at him, nodding absentmindedly, not fully grasping the chaos unfolding around him.
After some time, the bleeding was brought under control, and Sunghoon found himself once again on the sterile hospital bed, gazing up at the dull white ceiling. The room remained empty, and he sighed. Despite instructing the nurse to contact the person who brought him here, there was still no sign of anyone, even after an hour or two had passed.
Sunghoon could sense the drowsiness creeping over him, but he resisted the urge to sleep. He was determined to stay awake until he met the person who had brought him to the hospital. Because he barely remembers anything other than his fight with Beomgyu last night.
The door to his room softly opened as a guy with silver hair walked in, he walked over to the bed smiling, Sunghoon looked at the silver haired guy with frowned eyebrows "heeseung hyung..?, heeseung nodded "I am glad that you are finally awake..."
"You were the one who brought me here.., last night..?" Sunghoon asked his eyes filled with multiple questions wanting nothing but answers for all of his questions. Heeseung's smile faded as he sighed, "Sunghoon-ah, it's been a week since that incident. You were found unconscious, and your injuries were quite severe. You lost a lot of blood. Do you remember what happened?"
Sunghoon's mind was a whirlwind of confusion as he tried to recall the events of the past week. Heeseung waited patiently, giving him time to gather his thoughts.
Sunghoon's eyes widened in realisation as he stared at Heeseung. The memories were starting to slowly come back to him, but there were still gaps. Everything was hazy in his memories. Heeseung continued, "You lost a lot of blood and had some internal injuries. The doctors were worried about your condition, and you were kept under observation for a week."
Heeseung squeezed Sunghoon's hand gently, offering him a reassuring smile. "It's okay, Sunghoon. You're safe now, and you're going to recover soon."
Sunghoon nodded, still processing the information. Heeseung stayed by his side, providing comfort and support for the younger.
