Sunoo walked down the corridor leading to the meeting room, his footsteps echoing lightly against the marble floors. The employees and working staff he passed greeted him with polite nods and smiles, and he returned their gestures with the same respect and acknowledgement.

Standing in front of the large doors of the meeting room, he took a deep breath before pushing them open. As he expected, the room was still empty. He was early, as always. Sunoo hated being the centre of attention when arriving late, it was one of the worst feelings.

The conference table stretched before him, more than enough for a dozen people surrounded by sleek, leather chairs. He chose a seat near the middle, far enough from the head of the table where his father would sit.

Soon, the door opened, and one by one, all the senior employees began filing in. They were all experienced, talented people and Sunoo had always looked up to them. Sunoo, as always, greeted them with his bright smile which made everyone happier for a moment.

The room gradually filled, a quiet murmur echoing over the room as everyone settled into their seats. Sunoo could feel the growing tension, the questions and confusion. No one seemed to know what the meeting was about, Sunoo had expected that much.

After a few minutes the door opened again, and his father entered with Mr. Lee by his side. Everyone in the room collectively stood to greet the chairman, Sunoo followed the other employees greeting his father with a small bow. standing alongside the others, his eyes briefly met his father's. His father's face was unreadable, and Sunoo couldn't even guess what his father was feeling or thinking.

"Please, sit," his father said, his deep voice carrying easily through the room. Sunoo had always been amused by how different his father's personality was when he was at work, the chairman at the office was completely different from the father at home.

Everyone returned to their seats, Sunoo sat still, his back straight, trying to keep his face neutral. The suffocating silence in the room made him anxious, this is why he hated attending serious meetings, they made him feel sick to his core, his thoughts were killing him, but his face remained stone cold as if he was the calmest person ever.

Sunoo glanced around the room, noticing how others were starting to break a sweat, their eyes darting to one another, clearly uneasy. Obviously, no one had any more information than he did.

Sunoo swallowed, trying to ease the lump in his throat. Maybe they were all panicking for no reason and the meeting could be totally about something positive?

Sunoo's father spoke, his voice commanding the attention of everyone present in the room. "Mr. Lee, give them the documents."

Mr. Lee immediately nodded "Yes, Mr. Chairman." as he handed out documents from the thick packet he had been carrying since entering the room. Sunoo accepted his copy with a nod of thanks, his hands moving quickly as he flipped open the cover. The title stared back at him in bold letters: "Kim and Park Joint Project."
