Alex's POV
"MAAAAATTTT" I screamed from the stage. Annie literally walked in right when Matt fell of the stage and hit his head on a light. I was so scared in that moment I nearly broke my own leg jumping off the 5 foot stage to get to my friend.
At the hospital, Nick, Jamie, Annie, and I sat surrounding Matt. I was shaking. Annie comforted me so much much just by being there, her friends had left. I didn't blame them, they didn't know Matt or the rest of us. It was better to has just a tight-nit group around him.
Matt had been unconscious for 3 hours. The doctor said he wouldn't wake up till tomorrow morning, but we all decided to stay all night.
"Alex is your leg ok? You limped here!" Annie said. I couldn't believe she noticed. She was so caring. "I guess. I jumped off the stage when Matt fell, so i guess it could be sprained."
Annie's POV
I knew Alex hurt his leg jumping off the stage. I helped him up after I convinced him to talk to the doctor about it. It Was badly sprained. Oh Alex. If he wasn't so caring this wouldn't have happened.
Eventually, the doctor said Matt couldn't have so many people in the room when he woke up, which we all thought was total bullshit but we cooperated when he told us to leave. Alex and I went to the waiting room. "Annie. I don't know you well enough to know if you will think this is a stupid time to say this, but I kind of love you." Alex said. I could tell he was being genuine. "Well, Im not a fan of people that don't care about someone telling them you love them in a high intensity situation. So in that case, ditto."
Right in that moment, Alex kissed me. Alex Turner kissed me. And it felt like forever (in a good way) until we broke away from each other. In that moment, I realised I loved Alex Turner more than anyone else in my life and I had a boyfriend. Finally, i really am getting my life together.
"Aghh" I said as I was awoken by the constant bing of Matt's heart rate monitor. I had fallen asleep on Alex. When I looked up, I saw a smiling Matt, along with Jamie and Nick looking at me with guilty smiles. (I only knew their names because Alex had told me the night before.) "Hi I'm Matt! Nice to meet you Annie." Matt said, in a surprisingly cheerful voice for someone who was knocked unconscious and almost died of blood loss yesterday. "Nice to meet you too, even though the circumstances surrounding us aren't good!" I said. I was introduced to the other guys right before a doctor came in. "Okay Matt, i don't think I've ever seen someone almost die and then basically recover immediately! We are set to release you tomorrow afternoon. " The doctor said. "I think that's more of a personality issue." Alex said.
