The woman that has exceeded limits, at least limits for a eighteen year old. Started her own business from the ground up, that has become more than just the daughter of the professional racer or the daughter of one of the most successful businesswoman....
Stands before them now.
A good four months now with barely any contact, but now she is here, standing here in front of them with all of her power and glory, flashing all confidence and badass vibes.
They are at a shock.
Now they all stand in a room that is free from all of the people at the party, a couple of billiards tables being in the room and a TV that runs mindlessly, them being sure to close and lock the door behind him to be sure they wouldn't be disturbed.
Jane smiles as she hugs Max, Max hugging her back before they pull away after a minute. "Wow. You look different. A good different."
"Like a badass different." Vicki smiles. "Damn girl it is so good to see you. And I like your tattoo."
"Good to see you too." Max smiles while going to hug her. "And thank you."
"Oh my god Max!" Robin squeals while going to hug her. "Oh my Jesus look at you! My gay panic is really panicking right now!"
"That's what I'm saying." Vicki nods.
"Like your boobs are bigger your ass is bigger you're like...oh my god I missed you!" Robin goes to hug her again.
"Yes thank you Robin for pointing out the changes to my specific body parts." Max pats her shoulder. "Suzie, I didn't strike you as the partying type of girl."
"Oh you would be surprised." Suzie smiles before she goes to hug Max. "I've missed you, even though I'm pissed at you for barely contacting us during the four months you just disappeared."
"You guys can be pissed at me later, right now I'm just happy to see you all." Max says.
Max's eyes catches Will's, seeing how he looks at her with teary eyes with his mouth being lightly parted open. "Will." Max starts, her smiling softly while going over to him.
"Why?" Will questions. "You just...you just leave me not text me back not call me for the longest and now you're just here and I'm supposed to be all happy and all of that." He tries to fight back tears. "It's been a hell year Max."
"It has." Max says, her going to take his hands and hold them tightly. "It's been a hell year for all of us."
"I really really want to be mad at you right now." Will comments.
"But..." she smiles more.
"But I missed you." Will sobs.
Max hugs him back when Will hugs her tightly, Max rubbing his back while scratching the back of his neck. "I missed you too." She responds.
"Okay so...yeah I'm kind of a little bit of confused here...." Holly trails off a little bit, Max looking at her while she still hugs Will. "You're not like mad at us or anything right?"
"I'm not no." Max answers.
"Okay then why ghost us?" Holly shrugs.
Max sighs a little, her and Will going to pull away after a second, Max's hands going to his cheeks as she wipes his tears away. "I was battling with my own shit I didn't know how to comprehend. So the best thing for me to do was run off."
"Best thing. Not come to your friends?" Mike questions.
"Oh so we're friends now?" Max smiles at him.
