Memories.
How great they can be and powerful at the same time, but also rather complex.
Thoughts.
How they can be so beautiful and bright, but at the same time cause a doom and gloom feeling?
Torn.
That is how Max feels as she lays on the bed with the blanket being wrapped around her, her eyeing the blank wall with a distant and blank expression on her face. She has truly ran out of tears, at least for today or tonight or whatever time it is, she doesn't know because the clock has been taken away in the room.
So she has nothing left to do...besides think.
Lucas goes to set up a small mini camera in his locker, him adjusting it to where it isn't seen before going to close the door, him looking to his side when he sees Max.
Max smiles at him while her shoulder is leaned on the locker besides his. "Greetings."
Lucas goes to lean his shoulder on his locker, his body being fully turned towards her, his hands going in his pockets. "Greetings." He says back.
"Pardon me I'm-"
"Max Mayfield, I know exactly who you are." Lucas interrupts.
"Was it my drag race father that gave me away or my mother that runs a multi millionaire family business?" Max questions.
"The woman actually who owns a night club under one of her fathers drag race facilities." Lucas responds.
Max quirks an eyebrow a little bit with a impressed smile. "And where did you hear that from?" She questions.
Lucas shrugs his shoulders a little bit. "Where do you think I heard it from?"
"Answering a question with another question. Dodgy but...smart."
It went over her head but she realizes now, only a selected few know of her nightclub, which means he already did deep research on her to know about it, which meant he planned on using her from the start.
He had to start off with a way to reel her in, and she just took the bait easily.
"Eh it's fine you don't have to, but I am looking to buy." Max says.
"What are you in the market for?"
"Everything." Max responds. "Every kind of jewelry piece, made of this gold you have right here..." Max traces her finger over his watch, Lucas seeing her red nails. "Can you by chance do some in red?"
Lucas looks back up at her, her quirking her perfect brow with a smile. He cannot help but smile at her, his pearly white teeth showing. "How about I give you a sample piece in a few weeks, then from there you can tell me what you think."
Since when does a businessman give out free sample pieces of thousand dollar jewelry to someone he just met?
Max scolds herself for being so stupid, but his charm, his smile, his words all of it just reeled her in without even realizing it.
Then if he was just using her for information and to form good reputation, why not use her for sex too?
Lucas goes to make slow strides over to her, her hands going behind her back to play with her fingers lightly the closer he gets. "Max, I had a thing for you ever since I laid my eyes on you." He admits. "Ever since I saw you I wanted I actually wanted you to be in Tabatha's shoes that night of the party."
