Max's eyes slowly begin to open, some show running on the TV in front of her by a few feet, a pillow being under her head and a blanket being over her body, her being laid on the bed in the room of Hillard's apartment.

Max raises up, her looking besides her to see a neatly folded white shirt with guitars on it on the nightstand and a pair of shorts for her.

Max smiles softly when she smells breakfast cooking, her going to put on the shirt and shorts before she leaves out of the bedroom, her rounding the corner to see Hillard in the kitchen, his bare back being turned towards her as he stands in front of the stove, Max going over to him and going to wrap her arms around his waist.

"Hey." Hillard smiles at her. "I was going to bring you breakfast in bed."

Max smiles softly as she lays her head against his back, different memories coming to mind from that sentence alone.

Lucas looks around the closet, him going more into the closet before he goes to pick out a black long sleeved simple shirt, him going to give it to her. "There you are."

"Thanks." Max tells him.

Lucas sends her a quick wink in reply, him going to leave out of the closet and go towards the bed. "Come on now, you don't want your breakfast getting cold."

"Okay coming." Max responds, her taking off the towel and her going to put on the shirt that comes to her mid thigh, her leaving out of the closet and going to sit down in the bed with him. "Thank you, this shirt is really soft, and hell this smells good."

Max takes her arms from away from his waist, her going to pull away. "Hmm. You are a little to perfect. You sure you're not a killer or anything?"

"I'm sure if I was a killer you would already be dead." Hillard laughs.

Max smiles softly, her going to sit down at the round table. "Thank you."

"You're welcome." He replies, him going to put the plates down in front of them as he sits across from her, both of them beginning to eat.

Hillard looks up at her, seeing how she slowly chews on her eggs while looking aimlessly ahead of her. "What's on your mind?"

Max looks over at him. "What?"

"You're deep in thought." Hillard says. "Do you regret....last night—"

"No no I don't, I actually had a good time last night." Max tells him, him smiling more while eating. "But...as you know I went through a recent hard breakup and I'm not ready for...any committed relationship Hillard."

"No I definitely understand Max, I wasn't either when me and my ex broke up, that takes time." Hillard says. "Look I really like you, but I'm not going to rush you either so how about we just...see where this goes."

"I won't lie to you Hillard, and I don't want to lead you on it might not...be anything." Max admits honestly. "You're great, it's definitely not you."

"Lucas really did a number on you did he?" Hillard questions. "What was he to rough or something?"

Max chuckles lightly. "Lucas isn't the gentle kind of guy but no it wasn't forceful....not...yeah no." Max diverts. "It's just....things weren't working out and...as I told you when I was drunk he just doesn't feel the same for me as I do for him, and that is a lot to get over."

Hillard nods his head in understanding. "I get it, and Max you are doing great. Just don't backtrack, that's the same mistake I made and it didn't bring good results."
