Max sits at the bar at the end section, her just sipping on her drink while she stare's aimlessly ahead of her, her watching as a guy makes his way inside of the bar section, him running a hand through his dirty blonde hair, his blue eyes looking around a little bit.
"Hey man you can go on and bounce I took Dylan's shift tonight." Hillard states.
"Hey I won't complain about that." The other guy puts his hands up, him taking off his small white apron.
Hillard looks at Max while he tucks in his white Grill and Bar T shirt into his black pants, him going over to her. "Can I get anything for you?"
"Just a refill." Max slides her empty glass to him. "I prefer the white wine though."
"Aren't you like eighteen?" Hillard questions, him going to lean his forearms on the counter.
"According to my ID of mine I have here I am twenty one." Max puts the ID down on the counter.
Hillard picks up the ID, him looking at the front of it then on the back. "Oh nice this is laminated."
"Yep." Max pops the P.
"Only thing the DPS's that I know never really laminate ID's." Hillard hands the ID back to her.
"Yeah well this one is." Max shrugs. "So are you going to get me another drink or deny me...Hillard." She looks at his name tag. "Interesting name."
"Hey don't hate on my name my father gave it to me." Hillard smiles.
"Is that suppose to be something special?"
"Yeah, he's disabled."
"Oh my god." Max puts a hand over her mouth, Hillard laughing as he leans up. "I'm sorry—"
"No it's okay I wanted to see your reaction." He laughs. "I always say that to people when they say how weird my name is and they always have the same reaction you do."
"I feel bad." Max puts her hands on her cheeks.
"Don't, I meant to catch you into that little trap." Hillard takes out the white wine bottle.
"Yeah it looks like I have been getting into a lot of traps lately." Max mumbles.
Hillard gets done pouring her glass before sliding it back to her, Max going to drink a long sip. "So." He starts with a smile. "What's a beautiful girl like you doing here all alone?"
Max rolls her eyes as she sets down the cup. "That typical pick up line always work with the girls?"
"No I just wanted to see you roll your eyes." He says. "Max Mayfield hates the pick up lines."
"Thank you for not calling me Maxine."
"I know you hate being called that."
"So what?" Max shrugs a little bit. "You stalk my Instagram or Snapchat page or something?"
"Not technically, my friend does she's in love with you." Hillard says. "So give it to me, why are you here alone? In Hawaii. All solemn looking at the Aloha state?"
Max sighs a little bit. "Bad breakup." She admits, her going to down all of the wine before she sets the glass down on the counter.
"Bad breakup? With Lucas Sinclair?" Hillard questions shocked, Max nodding her head. "Didn't you guys like...just get together?"
"Yep." Max pops the P. "Another one please."
Hillard goes to pour her another glass, Max going to take a little sip of it. "Okay well, whatever he did he is a complete idiot. Since you are drinking your sorrow away let me guess...he cheated?"
