Vindicator is a book about a girl that was never supposed to be born. It was impossible for a daughter to be borne from an Alpha. But there she was, with Alpha blood running through her. Karma's father, embarrassed by the fact that he had a daughter, punished her mother through abusing the bond. Karma went on to defend the defenceless. To fight for those who'd been abused through the mate bond. She became their Vindicator.

The author's style of writing is absolutely exquisite. The author's language is rich and the words flow so perfectly that you find yourself getting sucked deeper and deeper into the world that the author has created with every word you read. The plot and idea of the book have not been explored by many before and this just adds to how unique the author is.

The story is not rushed in any way and explores themes and issues that are very common in today's society, for example abuse. Vindicator brings hope to one's heart because of the idea of someone being there to help you at your lowest.

The main character Karma, although guarded and very protective of her identity proves herself to be very talented and the Moon Goddess herself blesses her in ways no other was blessed. We see her being able to put others before herself and eventually her kindness and compassion pay off.

On the downside, there is quite a bot of profanity but only in the dialogue when necessary for characters to be brought more to life. For those not comfortable with such, it may be putting off, but those who do not mind, you will thoroughly enjoy this book.

Recommendation:

                             For those looking for a non-cliche-werewolf book with a strong female lead.
