VIVIAN ROSEWOOD
(mother is mothering)

her full name is vivian rosewood. she has short redhair, green eyes, pale skin and hollow cheeks.

we all know vivian as the mother of vicky rosewood. the one who stands out and protected the gladers. she's vincent second in command in the army of the right arm.

besides being a mother, her story is more than that.

she had experienced the flared and scorch world longer than the rest of the kids. she had a home at the end of the cul-de-sac. she lived with her husband and her parents.

when the war begin, WCKD takes so much from vivian, leaving her in suffer and grief while she's still pregnant with vicky. it was six months before vicky was born, vivian was kicked out of her home by WCKD soldiers. ava tried to make a deal with vivian, saying that her daughter is special but she refused. her husband is a soldier, he died later in the war.

her father was murdered, her mother mysteriously disappeared after she got taken away by WCKD.

that leaves vivian alone to take care of vicky. WCKD, basically ava tried to make a deal with her that; if vivian gave vicky under the care of WCKD and ava, vivian may have a home to stay. but by home, ava means the WCKD facility.

vivian had lost her husband, her parents and her home in four months before she was taken in by WCKD.

she gave birth to vicky shortly two or three months after that. while WCKD nurses take care of vicky, vivian was assigned to be one of the doctors too. she had her own part of the job. and that's when she met mary; mary cooper.

mary cooper, works as a doctor for WCKD before ava joins the organisation. vivian and mary develop a friendship over the years, mary even got the chance to meet little, tiny vicky.

the first time vivian was taken away from vicky when the little girl was three year old. WCKD run some tests for vicky in three weeks.

vicky lives in WCKD facility basically since she was born. she grew up with her mother, watching the kids taken in one by one. as she reached 14 years old, she was taken away from vivian again, so that leaves vivian alone.

she begged WCKD scientists to let her daughter out of the deadly maze. as her feral mind increasing into something bigger, WCKD injects something into vivian so she settled and calm down.

in the middle of three whole years that vicky was trapped in the maze. vivian joined the right arm when she met vincent, turning mary in to join her too. it was year and a half after vicky was sent into the maze.

leaving vicky behind with WCKD killed her, but she has no choice but to joined the right arm. she is the second in command of the right arm, leading with vincent in the army. ava was still in search for vivian, trying to track her down.

every day for three whole years, vivian talked and pray to the moon that vicky will always be safe and sound. vicky, on the other hand, talked and pray to the sunrise every time she wakes up.

when vivian and the rest of the right arm captured few of the subjects in the scorch trials. she was a bit disappointed that she and the rest had captured vicky's friends which is harriet, sonya and prim.

vivian's story goes deeper than being a mother who always stands out. she protected the kids.

her weapons tools is a lot. she has guns, rifles, bow and arrows, mace and dagger.

her most used is bow and arrows & mace. dagger when needed.

she cared a lot for the kids. she knew that all of them are orphans, not just the gladers, all of the subjects that was kidnapped by WCKD.

vivian was devastated and her heart stopped the moment she heard the news that vicky was non-immune. she's disappointed in herself as a mother who failed to protect her own daughter.

vivian's greatest enemy is none other than the devil himself: carter jewels.

his wife, scarlet marjorie who is the mother of thèrèse is vivian's best friend. but she's only known her for eight years.

carter is what i meant by WCKD. carter took everything from vivian. he ordered the soldiers to murdered vivian's father, taking her mother away from her. carter even killed vivian's husband in the war.

vivian is a very straightforward person, now we all know who vicky got it from. vivian is a fearless, impetuous, unyielding and well-trained fighter who nevertheless finds herself at a loss when confronted by superior technology and “dishonorable” battle tactics of WCKD.
