she has the sharpest mind since she was a kid. she's been taught to be polite and proper at a young age. she was taught to be a lady.

she has an underrated friendship bond with the gladers. she has never spoke a word towards brenda, or harriet or sonya, or newt, or minho, frypan. at all. she just sticks to her own group of four. plus aris, five.

aris and thèrèse friendship is for life. they are for liferss. aris is the little brother thèrèse could never had. aris is always there to check up on thèrèse, care for her even the littlest detail and affection, he gave. it's so sad they never spoke anymore. after thèrèse left and joined WCKD, aris never got a chance to even say anything to her. and their friendship grew apart.

okay, let's talk about her friendship with the gladers. start with thomas, yes they have problem with eachother. let's just see them as a brother and sister bond. i always saw thèrèse and thomas as twins, even though not by blood, they sure act like twins sometimes. and bea and thèrèse already act and feel like sisters. thèrèse cares for thomas, actually.

with minho, their friendship is underrated. they are enemies to friends. minho hated thèrèse. always believing she's a traitor since day one. but as days goes by, he only realised that thèrèse is the only one who comes and go into his room to check on him, gives him food and water, actually trying to talk to him.

thèrèse has a precious soul, once she suspects newt and vicky is non-immune, she was ready to give up everything. newt is someone to her, even though they're not friends. but nancy means so much to thèrèse, and if newt's nancy' brother, then he's her brother too. newt belongs to someone thèrèse cares about.

frypan is just a sweetheart. he's emotional and very distant around thèrèse, especially since the betrayal. but frypan learns the true intentions of thèrèse actions. he eventually accept thèrèse as his friend even though opening up is hard. but hey, it's frypan and thèrèse, they both got precious soul.

thèrèse past is not unlikely, just like the others. girlhood. that's all she's been wishing for since she was a kid. her job since she was 12 is to be a computer science. the one who checks on the subjects file, test bloods, informations. she's also very intelligent and bright girl in academic lessons.

she comes from a higher class family, her dad's basically the director of WCKD. thèrèse is well-liked by the people, very straightforward, mature but has no clue when it comes to right her wrong actions.

her intentions, finding the cure, she's doing it all for her mama. she's continuing her mother's mission. betraying her friends are hard, she has to go back to the other side. she has fallen from grace, she let everyone down. she wants to save the world, but would it mean saving her friends too? her friends is her world and it would destroy her to see them suffering.

knowing they all were upset and have a hard time trusting her is understandable. she thought that she could save the world, watching her mother got taken away by the virus at such a young age with her own eyes changes her mind in different perspective.

thèrèse never had any siblings but feels like she has the responsibility of being the eldest sister. gladers affect. she is a girlboss in her own way since day one. she actually loves the idea of being proper and gentle. really loves old disney movies, the only ones keeping her company since she was a child.

being a girl and a woman is the greatest battle she's ever faced. good thing she's a mighty warrior.
