he doesn't remember her, but he should.

every night he dreams of bea and a relationship that should have been there but has disappeared without a trace. he remembers her smell, her kisses and the sound of her laugh, especially her laugh, but not her face.

bea hated the gods, especially when it comes to them removing and erasing memories of people she loved: that just made her remember all the bad memories she had back when she's still with WCKD.

his memories were erased by the influence of the gods. a couple of teenagers forcibly separated for the good of fate.

one day, the seven crew of argo II along with nico and reyna arrives at the new right arm base which is the safe haven: he starts to remember everything.

“you are...”

bea knows this feeling all too well. her eyes got teary for a second as she tried holding back her tears and suck it all in. "hello, nico di angelo." she said, not bothering to realise she said that in the most saddest yet softest tone.

nico's expression freezes as he processes the familiar voice, like a long lost memory suddenly reappearing from a sea of darkness. he knows that voice, he's heard it before more than once and he knows that it isn't just some stranger.

"it is you," he whispers in a voice as soft as her own, his eyes locked on her tearful face.

her eyes softened for a moment—she really thought he's just guessing who she is. "my name's beatrice miller. pleased to meet you." she gulped back the bitterness crawling up her throat.

nico nods slowly then starts laughing, amused by her attempt at hiding her identity. he knew this girl so well before everything went bad: back when he had no powers and was just an awkward teenager, back when they could have been together.

"why don't you tell me who you really are?" he asks sarcastically.

she gulped. "daughter of nemesis?" she thought that's what he meant.

nico's smile brightens as he realises she isn't trying to trick him.

this girl is the real deal.

"good, good," he says with relief in his voice. "well now that we got that out the way, let's cut to the chase. the girl i once loved is standing in front of me."

he steps forward taking her hands. her touch sends shivers down his spine.

she'd gasped if it weren't for him taking her hands. she looked down sadly, but hide it before looking back into his eyes. "you.. remember?"

"how could i not remember?" nico's eyes are filled with emotion as he gazes at her, a feeling of relief and love washing over him as he remembers everything from the past. as much as he wanted to pull her into a tight hug and whisper everything is going to be okay, he knows that he has to refrain.

"did you forget me too?" he queries, tilting his head as he searches her eyes.

she throw her arms around him, couldn't hold it in as she sobs. "oh, nico," she whispered his name in relief. "i thought i lost you.." she sobs.
