As good as Yuzuru's embrace was, Maya knew it was getting late and he had to go to his hotel.

Looking at the man in question, he just seemed to be in a constant dazed state, looking at her as if he had never seen a woman before.

It made her giggle.

"What's so funny?"

"The way you're looking at me."

"I'm just trying to save the memory. I learned in the past years that you never know when the end comes and well... I really want to save these memories in my head."

"Stop being like that. Kaiya needs her father, I won't disappear either."

"You promise?"

"I promise."

Maya pecked his cheek in a shy gesture. They were slowly getting back to being physical around one another but it was only natural that they didn't want to rush anything.

"I don't want to leave you."

"It's just for a few hours."

"You wouldn't let me take the couch?"

"It's a tiny one."

"So?"

"So? I won't be guilty if a skating superstar is suddenly injured for not sleeping in a proper bed."

"Hum... Maybe you could let me stay in the bed... I think we would fit."

"The three of us?" Maya asked with a raised brow.

"You always cuddle into me anyways..."

"As lovely as that would be, I don't think I want to confuse Kaiya that fast."

Yuzuru considered it for a second.

He had completely entered the life of the little one and had already given it a big turnover.

Maya was right when she said that they should be careful around her.

It was just a way that they had to make sure that the girl wasn't too confused about what was going on.

So, right then, their best option was for him to go back to his hotel.

"Alright. Can I at least kiss you goodbye?" he muttered with uncertainty as he looked into her eyes.

"I think I can allow that."

He grinned happily from ear to ear. Knowing that the woman he loved wasn't closing the door, but rather slowly opening it was the best feeling he could have asked for on that day.

Yuzuru caressed her cheek softly and Maya couldn't resist leaning on his hand gently.

Everything seemed slow but controlled. Their little bubble where nothing could go wrong.

When he finally closed the distance between them and captured her lips, Maya moaned into the exchange immediately.

There was nothing like this, nothing like the feeling of being touched by him in the gentlest of ways.

She never tried to date anyone but it would be stupid to even try.

There was no one like him for her and that had been very clear from the moment of their first kiss until now.

They were both breathless after a while, not necessarily because of the exchange but rather due to the sheer emotional weight that it had.

As nice as it was, the exchange was also a promise for more and it was hard for them both to part ways.
