Waking up entangled with Yuzuru's naked body felt even better than Maya remembered.

They were at peace.

Moments like these seemed almost new now, even if 6 years ago she had woken up in this same position several times.

He looked peaceful.

Some things never did change, his eye was still wide open as he slept, something that always fascinated her to this day.

Right then, they had no problems to fix, no stalkers, no threats.

"Maybe we should put some clothes on" Yuzuru whispered in her ear, making her eyes widen and cheeks flush.

"Yes, mom?"

"Do you mind giving me that T-shirt that is on the ground?"

"Daddy's t-shirt?" the little girl asked and Maya tried her best to ignore the giggling of the man beside her.

"Yes."

Maya ignored the looks as she covered her naked body in his shirt, Yuzuru seemingly not too concerned over his nakedness under the covers as he smiled at the image.

"Mommy... Isn't Dad's shirt big on you?"

"A little bit, but it doesn't matter. I like stealing his clothes. They are comfy."

"And you don't mind, dad?"

Yuzuru chuckled, knowing he couldn't just tell the little girl that he found it very sexy. With his head, he nodded no in response.

"I have lots of shirts, princess."

Kaiya eventually found herself bored and climbed up the bed, instantly hugging her mother and settling in the middle of them.

Maya gave him a warning look, but Yuzu didn't look too worried as he hugged the little girl in his arms.

"Can we have breakfast?"

"I knew there had to be something you wanted" Yuzuru teased Kaiya making her giggle. "Are you hungry?"

The girl nodded and he kissed her cheek.

"Well, we can't have that. What do you want to eat?"

Maya smiled, watching them, laying on the bed again and on his shoulder.

"Waffles!"

The adults in the room giggled.

"It's not weekend, young lady..." Maya warned.

By now, she was pretty much immune to her daughter's pleading eyes and adorable pout. Yuzuru, however, couldn't resist the small girl.

"If it's just once...I don't see why not."

"Oh good lord, you're going to spoil her so much... I can already see it."

"All the beautiful princesses deserve to be spoiled, right Kai-chan?"

"Yes!"

"Not too spoiled, though." Maya muttered and Yuzu kissed her lips.

"Waffles aren't that bad."

"You're the ultra-healthy athlete, I won't fight you on this."

Satisfied, Yuzuru whispered a small thank you in Maya's ear before they were interrupted once again.

"I'll get the ingredients! Let's cook!" the girl said excitedly. "Come on! I'm hungry."

"Maybe it's best if you go with her, I just have to get dressed and I'll join you right away."

"It serves as a lesson."

"Hum?"

"To not sleep naked when a 5-year-old can come in at any time."

"I wasn't the only one."

"I was tired."

"So was I."

Chuckling, Maya pecked him once again before finally standing up.

Yuzu groaned as the movement showed enough skin through his shirt to tease him. There was something about Maya's body that just drove him wild.
