The next few weeks around the camp were rather quiet, not much was really happening and everybody was really just going about their daily routines and enjoying each passing day. Naturally a few of the gang members tried to do some robberies to try and earn some money for the gang when they could. Javier and Arthur ended up going to rob some little homestead up north in a little place called Chez Porter. Karen had heard something about the bank being loaded with money but it seemed to early to act on that one yet. Kieran, the alleged O'Driscoll ended up getting set free from being tied to a tree but was still a prisoner even if he had an inch more freedom now and some members still had a strong dislike or distrust of him.

Sadie in particular was no big fan of him and rightfully so, Simon even watched her one day take food to Kieran at the tree and just dump it on the floor and stomp on it. "Enjoy the food, you bastard." She said rather angrily, and for everyone it was pretty obvious, when she wasnt being sad...Sadie was almost always angry, filled with a hatred for the O'Driscolls and it sometimes even spilt into the gang where she would make comments to Arthur when he would try check on her like: "He was worth a hundred of you thieves and murderers."

A little after that, the gang had even managed to go back to West Elizabeth after hearing from a reliable source that a fellow gang member, an irish lad by the name of Sean Macguire was being held by some bounty hunters there. Dutch sent Charles, Javier and Arthur to rescue him, which they did successfully and Dutch decided to throw a party that evening for everyone to celebrate Seans return.

Simon went and sat with Sadie and Abigail who were sat on some rocks outside on the border of the camp away from everyone else, He had grabbed a beer from the box and sat down quietly. "Not in the mood for a party, Miss Roberts?" He asked her politely with a little smile. "Not really, besides Seans too loud when he drinks...even when he isnt drinking hes loud." She chuckled "Why arent you partying?" She asked Simon as he took another sip of his drink. He wasn't usually much of a party person really and much prefered the quiet even if this party did seem joyful.

"Im not really a party person but I also wanted to come sit with Sadie so she doesnt feel alone and just make sure shes okay" He said thinking being hojest would be the best option. "Im fine...I just ain't in the partying mood.." Sadie said staring out into the distance a bit again, Simon wasn't going to argue..he didnt blame her for not being in the party mood given everything she had been through recently as well as not really being a part of the gang or even liking most of them. Abigail smiled "Well that is quite nice of you..but I can keep her company if you do want to go dance or something.

Simon chuckled "Oh nah, I wouldn't want to embarass myself...It would be like watching a skittish horse trying to avoid a snake pit." He said with a little smile trying to cheer the mood up and this caused not only Abigail to laugh a bit but Sadie also cracked a very very tiny smile or at least thats what Simon thought but it was rather dark so maybe he was seeing things, he thought.

The rest of the party went by and everyone went to bed later. A few days passed and everything was quiet until Arthur took Jack fishing per Abigails request since John was far from a good father or 'husband' to Abigail and she thought Jack needed a cheer up since he had been through alot. Simon was pretty much just quietly sat on his bedroll sharpening his knife a little bit, whilst Sadie was sat on the other side of the camp reading a book. A few hours passed and Arthur came back looking concerned and went into Dutch's tent to talk. Turns out, that the Pinkertons whom the gang were fleeing from had confronted Arthur down at the river and knew the gang was close by so Arthur suggested moving asking Dutch what they should do. Dutch refused and said to do nothing for now and just wait and have faith.

A few days past and things were still quiet, John had been busy organising a robbery of a train that the gang had heard about that would be passing through Scarlett Meadows a little to the South at night filled with rich tourists. Arthur was busy helping him despite his somewhat dislike to John for a reason Simon was unsure of and never bothered to ask. They ended up doing the robbery which went pretty well all things considered they had Sean go with even though he wasnt invited and the others were worried he would mess things up.

The next day, Dutch and Herr Strauss went into the Valentine saloon whilst Arthur and John had gone to scope out a possible money making job to do with a sheep auction. The rest of the gang stayed at camp however and were none the wiser of the drama that was about to unfold. A few hours later that day Leviticus Cornwall, along with almost all the law in town showed up in Valentine right outside the saloon that now had Dutch and Arthur in. He kept yelling demanding that Dutch come out.

Dutch did so and started giving a speech before a massive shootout broke out, the gang barely made it out of the town in one piece, Herr Strauss even got shot in the leg on the way out. Once they got back to camp, Dutch began giving orders and told everyone to start packing things up as now they would be moving again...
