(Hello, apologies for the delay between parts, been a little busy recently but enjoy y'all.)

Simon laid in his bed with the other men, all of whom were fast asleep except for the few who were on gaurd duty in the camp for the night. He had trouble sleeping and even falling asleep that night, much like Sadie but for such different yet similar reasons...

He had been struggling to sleep due to Jake's death, same as Sadie but to him it was more the shock of it all..a good friend of his, gone...he could only imagine the pain that Sadie must ve feeling at this moment. He laid in bed for about an hour before he finally fell asleep but he was very up and down throughout the night and kept constantly waking up.

Sadie, on the other hand, in the building with the rest of the women from camp...just didn't sleep. It had been three days she was stuck in the basement of her house and had lost her husband, the love of her life...her house had even burned down now thanks to Micah's stupidity. She had truly lost everything she had, and now here she was, taken in by a group of people that she knew nothing about and knew no one...unsure if she could even trust any of them apart from the fact they took her back their camp when they found her.

She tossed and turned all night between her tears. Some of the other women like Mary Beth and Abigail, tried to comfort her before they went to sleep themselves...but Sadie's crying would stop for a few moments at most. She eventually cried herself to sleep in the early hours of the morning around 3am but she didn't sleep very long as the gang began to wake up early in the day and she was soon awoken again.

By around 8 or 9am, everybody in camp was awake and moving about, Reverend Swanson was sitting reading the bible. And the others were around the campfire. Sadie sat in silence...she wasn't even crying anymore now, just silent, hardly looked at anyone or spoke a word. She just kept her head down even as the door opened to their building. Arthur had entered to come and warm up by the fire and was immediately approached by Abigail. She explained that her husband, John, although they weren't officially married was still missing and it had been two days since they last saw him.

At first Arthur refused to go looking for him, given the conditions of the cold and the huge amounts of snow outside. Hosea, however, asked Javier to ride with Arthur to go and take a look for John together and the two were soon on their way. Soon, after they left Simon woke up, As he sat up in the bunk bed he was in he sighed, his mind immediately went to last night and everything came flooding back to him...he really wondered how Sadie was doing and he was not sure if he should try and talk to her today...

He thought about it and sat on the bed quietly, after a few minutes of deliberating...he decided against it and just decided to go and see how the others were doing. He got up and a put his coat on before going across into the building where the others were, as he walked in, he immediately spotted Sadie. She was sat on a bench next to Mary Beth and Karen and was crying heavily again, her head in her hands and Simon instantly felt bad for her again. Mary-Beth quickly reacted and gave Sadie a little side hug "Hey, you're okay...you're okay. You're safe now..." Mary-Beth said softly to Sadie. Sadie sniffled and turned her head slightly to look at Mary Beth giving her a little nod before wiping her face and eyes again as then she spotted Simon.

He hadn't moved from the door since he came in and wasn't sure if he should...he was somewhat frozen in place especially now that Sadie had seen him. "Sadie..." he thought to himself quietly and sadly as he watched her hang her head down again looking at her own feet. She didnt seem much in the mood to talk still, especially about old times now that Simon had been seen and it brought all the memories back to her.

He took a deep breath before moving closer to her now in slow, heavy steps. He thought even if she didnt want to talk to him, it would have been rude of him to at least not give his condolences about Jake to her. He carefully bent down in front of her and took his hat off sighing softly. "U-Um Mrs Adler...?" He said and he already knew he was making a fool of himself and struggling to find the words to say.

"I am sorry for your loss, Jake was...well I didnt know him as well as you..but he was a good man and I..um..well I will always be grateful to have known him as a friend. My sincerest condolences Mrs Adler." He said to her as he stood up now, as he stood, he could see some tears in her eyes starting to form again and he couldn't look at her again so he began to walk away further into the building to the fireplace. He was man of few words still but his words were certainly sympathetic to her as he stood by the fire now warming his hands a little.

Whilst Simon spoke to her Sadie said nothing, she looked at him but at the same time not really, it's as if her mind was somewhere completely else. She could hear his words but her mind and eyes were distant and empty, sad. As Simon walked off she just put her head down and tried to resist crying again. She in fact wouldnt exactly get a chance as soon there was shouting from outside by Arthur and Javier.

"Hey, can we get some help here?!" Arthur shouted and soon Bill and Lenny came out the building to help John off the back of the horse, they did so a bit recklessly too causing John to wince in pain. "Ay, careful idiotas..its his leg." Javier said as Abigail came rushing out the building now, relieved yet some what dissappointed at the same time if that was possible that John was alive. "Oh your alive..!" Abigail said with a bit if a gasp in her voice as John was helped inside now and taken to a bed in the back of the building. He seemed in pretty bad shape, attacked by wolves with a scar and scrapes on his arms and his face as well as blood, soon Swanson came to treat him whilst Arthur discussed with Hosea outside and everyone else went back to relaxing and warming up in the building now.

And the rest of the day was quiet, everyone mostly kept to themselves except for Dutch and the senior members of the gang who were plotting to steal from the O'Driscolls since they knew of a camp of theirs in the mountains too now.

(Gonna end this here, hope yall enjoyed and sorry for typos :D. Love yall!)
