(Hi everyone, I am so sorry for the delays between these parts. I am trying my best but it has been quite hard to keep these parts consistent. This part will be more story events and less Sadie-Simon but thanks for understanding, hopefully and enjoy.)

The next couple of days were quite eventful for many members of the Van Der Linde gang, Dutch had seemed to somehow by a chance rescue of a friend Josiah Trewlawny, managed to get himself, Bill and Arthur ingratiated with the local law in town and even got themselves deputized by helping Sheriff Gray take down the Moonshine operation run by the Lemoyne Raiders who were allegedly dealing with the Braithwaites as well. The gang also managed to weasel their way into stealing most of the moonshine in the moonshine wagon and took it back to their camp.

Things were even more complex between the two families than things seemed as their seemed to be a Romeo and Juliet love story between Beau Gray and Penelope Braithwaite, both children of the heads of the families. The gang had devised this rather well, with Dutch mostly dealing with the Grays and Hosea with the Braithwaites, the gang had clear intentions of robbing both families somehow.

A couple of days after getting deputized, Arthur and Hosea went on a mission to try sell the now "missing" moonshine to the Braithwaites and take the money for themselves, it did not work well but they fot offered more money if they were to take the moonshine to the saloon in Rhodes, owned by the Grays of course, and to give out the drinks for free.

So they did, they rode to the Saloon and acted out some roles, Arthur took on the role of Fenton, a dumb and sad idiot who couldnt speak whilst Hosea took on the role of his brother and did all the convincing. They spent a good part of the entire day handing out moonshine for free until the Lemoyne Raiders barged into the saloon and accused them of stealing their moonshine. A huge shootout then ensued, and at the end of it all, their was dead bodies, bullet casings and bottles everywhere but Hosea and Dutch managed to make it back to camp and lose their pursuers.

Over the next few days the gang performed a numerous amount of different jobs. Arthur and Lenny headed out one day to a place Lenny had got a tip about in a bar called Shady Belle, supposedly a big old plantation house where the Raiders did most of their dealings. The place was heavily guarded and near to a goddamn fortress when they arrived but they managed to take it over and got a wagon of new rifles and dynamite out of it which they could very easily sell for money. Lenny was really chuffed about this when they got back to camp as he had been wanting to bring his own big score in for a while now.

The rest of the gang continued over the coming days to play both sides of this bloody feud between the two families, John and Javier had gone to the grays to see about stealing some prize horses from the Braithwaites, they were supposed to get $5000 for them but instead got a measly 700 from the dealers. Hosea took Sean the the Braithwaites with whom Arthur met up with for a job, Catherine Braithwaite had asked them to take a wagon of moonshine to the Grays Plantation and burn their tobacco fields since it hadn't rained in weeks and it was an advantage for them to eliminate the Grays in a way.

Arthur also went on a job he got from Uncle, which was suprising given how lazy Uncle was. He was promised it would be an easy stagecoach but it was not and it made Arthur detest Uncle even more than he already did. He also went with Bill, Karen and Lenny a couple of days later to go and rob the bank in Valentine which Karen had told Arthur about back when their camp was still in Horseshoe Overlook, which was a huge risk already given they were wanted men in that town but they went and did it anyway, and it was worth it because they got a lot of money out of that job.

Arthur also went back to the Downes ranch, a family which was part of Strauss' loan sharking and debt was still owed to the gang by them. He had gone there a few weeks ago and beat up Thomas Downes, the man responsible for the debt pretty badly but the man was dying and sick anyway so it wasnt really necessary and Arthur realised this when Thomas could hardly stand and coughed in his face. Now he had gone back after finding out that Thomas had passed away to reclaim the rest of the debt money from the family which was the wife Mrs Downes and their son. Once that was done Arthur headed back to camp to meet up with Micah who was lurking around Dutchs tent and sharpening his knife.

"Ah, cowpoke there you are." Micah said with a smirk as he put his knife away "What you want Micah?" Arthur asked in a not so pleased manner. "Well we have an offer of peace according to Mr Pearson...Big Man! Come here and tell them what you told me." Micah yelled shoving Pearson into the fray a bit. Mr Pearson then went on to explain to Dutch and Arthur that in the saloon in town he got cornered by some O'Driscolls who apparently offered a chance for peace with Dutch and his gang and finally put this long and bloody feud to rest, once and for all.

Dutch, Arthur and even Hosea who chimed in were all pretty skeptical about this plan but after enough of Micah's blabbering they went ahead with it anyway. Dutch, Micah and Arthur then all rode out to a spot a bit more to the north in the open lands between Rhodes and Emerald Ranch. The Plan was as follows: Dutch and Micah would attend the meeting to try and broker peace with Colm and his gang, whilst Arthur took up a high spot and vantage point to oversee the meeting with his sighted rifle. As the three of them rode to the spot, Arthur was filled with doubts about this and these were only uneased further when they spotted some O'Driscoll men watching them as they rode. Micah once again reassured Arthur "You'll be the eyes soon enough relax."

After a few more minutes of riding, they arrived and Arthur went and spilt off from the others and rode up to a nice little vantage point to overlook the meeting. Once the meeting started everything seemed to be going fine, Dutch and Colm were both talking and there didnt seem to be anything suspicious happening but Arthur did not ease up his grip on his rifle nor take his eyes off the meeting until he heard himself being snuck up on and tried to turn around but it was too late and he was knocked out.

He awoke a few hours later, and began trying to run away from his captors only to get shot in the shoulder and tied up over horseback before being taken away to an abandoned little cabin...

(Okay, I'll continue this next part. My apologies if the chapter is kinda shitty, it wasnt the best to write, I also sincerely apologise for totally forgetting about the Thomas Downes Mission in previous parts, hence the mention in this one to try make up for it. I will try write the next part asap, and as always thanks for reading. Love y'all)
