in which eliza gets invited on the cut the camera podcast...
chris walked off from me, this time i didn't want to go after him. it was his fault, this time. not me. he should've let me explain, i was going to tell him i wasn't sure of my feelings yet, but instead he ran off.
i was stud alone with my thoughts, and my eyes were starting to tear up. not because i was sad, but because i was mad.
i wasn't going to allow myself to cry, i wasn't going to stand in the middle of the street, in hawaii like the best place on earth.
i'm about to turn around but before i do i dry my eyes, i turn around and bump into someone, "oh my gosh, i'm so sorry" i say looking up at the attractive boy stud before me, "it's fine, it was my fault anyways" he laughs as his eyes meet mine, i shake my head, "no way, i should've been more careful" and for some reason i feel better.
i walk by him and he calls me out, "hey! what's your name?" and i turn around, "eliza, what's your name?" i ask, "kai" he replies and i nod as he walks towards me, "can i have your number?" he asks and passes me his phone to type my number in and i do, "message you later, kai" i say and he nods, "see you later, liz" he replies and i feel my muscles tense at the nickname but i'm to mad at chris to correct him.

i get back to the hotel alone and go up to the room, madi is now curling her hair and cami is lay on the bed on her phone.
"everything good with chris?" madi questions not looking at me as she's curling her hair. i suck in air through my teeth and shake my head, "no not really" i say and cami looks at me with a confused expression, "well then why are you so happy" she asks.
i smile at her, "because, cami" i say, "i just met a really hot guy called kai"
cami and madi smile at me but then cami's smile drops, "you can't eliza!" she scolds and i furrow my brows, "why?"
"because, eliza. you'll lead him on because you'll always have something there for chris" madi says and cami nods, i just shake my head "i never had something for chris"
"okay, girl what even happened though?" cami asks and i go and lay down next to her, "well he was sat at the bar and then we went for a walk, he said we should talk and i said i wasn't sure about my feelings and then he cut me off and wouldn't let me explain, then he just walked off" i shrug but i'm not sure i really care at this time.
"he cut you off?" madi asks now turning to look at me and cami and i nod, "he pissed me off" i say.
CHRIS'S POV
i turned around and saw eliza talking to some guy, i'm too angry to care anyways. i don't really care, i'm just really thirsty so i go to a local gas station.
gas station snacks are the absolute best, i pick up a bottle of pepsi and then go to the desk to pay, "can i also get a slice of pepperoni pizza?" i ask and the worker nods at me while grabbing a box and putting the slice in the box, "that will be 3 dollars 75 cents, you new here?" she asks as i pay, "yeah, it's my first time here" i nod and so does she.
the worker seems about my age, "you seem cool, can i have your number?" i ask partially because i want to get back at eliza and she nods, i was about to pass her my phone but i remember i don't have it on me, "i don't have my phone right now" i laugh awkwardly and so does she, "here, type yours into mine" she passes me her phone and i type my number into it, "what's your name?" she asks me, "chris" i reply, "what's yours?"
i pass her phone back and looks at me, "eleanor, call me ella though" she smiles, "see you later,chris" she smiles and i nod goodbye walking out of the shop.

at the hotel
i get back at the hotel and knock on the door because i don't have a keycard, nick opens the door and lets me in, "where's matt?" i ask and he points to the bathroom door, "in the shower" he replies and i nod.
matt comes out with some shorts and a pyjama t shirt on, "you make up with eliza?" he asks ruffling his wet hair and i shake my head. nick looks at me, "oh, she didn't find you? she came here asking for you" nick says and i feel a tinge of guiltiness but it soon goes away, "no, she did" i reply.
matt furrows his brows at me, "you didn't talk?" he asks, "no, we did" i shrug.
"fuck me, this kid giving us one word answers and expecting us to fucking decode it" nick exclaims and matt laughs, "you wanna know what happened" i ask and they nod.
"well, she found me at the bar and then we went for a walk. then i said we should talk and she nods at me, then she tells me she's not sure if she likes me and then i cut her off and go off on one" i ramble and nick looks at me like he's angry, "you cut her off?" he says and i nod.
"that's so bad chris, why?" matt asks me and i begin to explain, "well-" nick cuts me off, "you interrupted her?"
"yeah, because-" nick cuts me off once again and i started getting annoyed, "you seriously cut her off" he says, "yeah-" nick cuts me off once again and before he can open his mouth to talk i say something, "stop fucking cutting me off and let me explain!" i exclaim annoyed and they are both looking at me with a know it all look, "oh" i say realising that they wanted me to feel how annoyed eliza probably was and they both nod at me.
"anyways and then i walked off and went to the gas station and i gave this girl my number" i shrug on my phone and matt looks at me, "chris, you can't"
i furrow my brows, "why?" i say and his face drops, "because you'll just lead her on because of eliza" matt says in a duh tone and i roll my eyes, "no, i won't"
NO ONES POV
both teens were sat in their rooms waiting for a text from the boys and girls they met, growing impatient
"i wish he gave me his number" eliza whinges
"why hasn't she messaged me yet?" chris says
and then, at the same time. their phones ping
"she messaged me!" chris exclaims earning side eyes from their brothers
"he messaged me!" eliza squeals like a teenager inlove.
