the weekend is over and school has started again
nothing really happened on monday or tuesday. well i mean tuesdays just tuesday so of course nothing happened but it was now wednesday,
"ELIZABETH-ROSE SMITH SCHOOL STARTS IN 20 MINUTES AND YOU HAVE TO WALK! COME DOWN NOW!" my mom yells up at me, my eyes widen when i hear the full name because now i know she's seriously getting angry,
"coming!" i shout. i rush around my room getting my bag, a jacket and my shoes, i also get my jewellery and throw it inside my jacket pockets. i'll put it on when i walk to school and then i rush downstairs.
i pack my bag and get a coat and umberella because it's raining and then i rush out the door.
It's lightly raining so i don't have my umberella up yet, i wish people walked my way home or walked to school my way so i didn't have to walk alone. i turn my music on and put my airpods in, 'Let The Light In' started playing and i walked.
I was now around 10 minutes away from school and it started chucking it down, i went to put my umberella up but because it was so windy it kept on blowing inside out and ended up breaking, great, now i have to go to school looking like a drownd rat.
CHRIS'S POV
"let me connect my phone to the aux!" i say to matt,
"no way and i'm driving so let me concentrate" he says smacking my hand away from the screen to connect my phone,
"wait is that eliza?" nick says pointing out his window,
"oh shit yeah" i say, "matt roll my window down" i say and he does,
"hey! liz, come in here you're going to get soaked! i shout and she looks over and doesn't hesitate to come over.
ELIZA'S POV
"hey! liz, come in here you're going to get soaked" someone shouted to me from a car, i look to my right and chris is hanging out of the car window. i walk over to the car and climb in the back, nick waves so i smile,
"hey" i saw awkwardly,
"why did you not message me?" matt asks, "i would've picked you up on the way and you could've drove with us" he says now turning around too look at me,
"to be fair i didn't think of that, but even if i did i wouldn't want to be a bother" i say to matt,
"well next time it's raining we'll come pick you up" he says smiling and then turn around.
the rest of the car ride is silent, nick was on his phone, chris was looking out the window, matts driving of course and i was listening my music

we pull up outside of the school and the rain has stopped now,
"i'm gonna go to my locker to meet madi, thanks for the ride matt" i say smiling and they all smile back at me
i shiver because my clothes are still damp and see madi by my locker,
"hey!" madi says smiling at me and waving
"hey girl how long have you been here?" i ask her opening my locker and putting my stuff in and i take some stuff out of it,
"i've been here for like half an hour because i knew it was going to rain and i didn't want to get wet" she says nodding her head,
"that's so smart to be honest" i say and we walk to our lesson,
"i need to go to the toilet mads so tell miss i'll be there in like 5 minutes" i say and she nods so i walk off.
i'm trying to make my way through the corridor but i end up bumping into someone, i look up at its jack,
"oh hey eliza! good to see your feeling better. I wonder what even happened" he says to me while holding onto my shoulders because i nearly fell,
"oh yeah i know it was so strange" i reply shrugging, "well i have to go to the bathroom, but i'll see you later in class?" i ask him,
"yes of course, i actually need to go to the toilet too so i'll walk with you" he replies smiling
we walk through the hall just talking, i didn't know a person could be funny. we are nearly at the bathrooms and i was laughing at something he said and i could see chris eyeing me from across the hall because i was with jack, i ignore him and go into the bathroom.
once i'm finished and i go back in class and take my seat next to madi who was talking to matt who was infront,
"oh my gosh madi, i have such a crush on jack. he's so funny" i say gushing and smiling,
"he needs you girl!" she says hyping me up and just then matt turns around,
"stop being so delusional" he says rolling his eyes then laughs,
i flip him off, "being delulu is the solulu" i say shrugging and madi nods.
IN THE CLASS WITH JACK
i sit down and wait for jack to come and just then he comes up to me and takes a seat,
"hey! move your feet off my chair" he says and then starts laughing, i take my feet off his seat and smile, "and hello to you too" i laugh
i'm basically laughing and smiling for the whole class and jacks dropped some compliments here and there but nothing could've prepared me for what he said next, i'm in the middle of laughing at something he said, "you have a really beautiful smile" he says staring at me like he's admiring me. instant butterflies. i try to hide my smile, "thank you" i say smiling, "your smiles nice too" i say returning the compliment,
"do you have a snapchat?" he asks me, god i was waiting for this moment since i met him,
"um yeah it's elizahsmithh" i reply and he types it into his phone,
"picture?" he asks me and i nod,
"send me that!" i say and he laughs,
"of course"
