"do you want to sit with me at lunch today?"jack asks, i feel weird because i don't know any of his friends and i dont want it to be awkward. this is clearly visible on my face as he says, "i'll make sure my friends don't sit with us so you don't feel uncomfortable because i know you don't speak to any of my friends" and i nod, "of course i'll sit with you" and he smiles
class passes and i meet up with madi and the triplets, "jack asked me to sit with him at lunch today is it all right with you?" i ask them and they all nod but chris also scoffs, "don't trust him lizzy". ooh! a new nickname, for some reason it made me feel warm inside and i was unable to say anything. the bell rings and it's time for lunch, "enjoy it girl! tell me EVERYTHING" madi says emphasising the everything
i get my food and look for jack, he's got a table outside and he's on his own so i rush over too him and he's stuffing his face with some rice, "you enjoying that?" i say sitting down laughing and he laughs, "it is actually very nice" he says. i pull out my phone and take a photo and show him, "that's horrendous" he laughs, "i'm posting it everywhere" i tease and he shakes his head smiling.
lunch is over soon enough and then also is school, i cant stop smiling about lunch but i also can't stop thinking about chris calling me lizzy, am i torn between two boys? they are both really nice to me, i need to stop thinking so i get my airpods out and put them in, lover by taylor swift starts playing, "unfortunate timing" i think to myself and soon enough i'm home. i'm pretty tired so i just go to sleep, when i wake up i remember about the picture i took of jack and post it to my spam.
