NO ONES POV
eliza walked back into the hotel lobby and chris's heart skipped a few beats, he was so nervous about what she was going to say, about jack really.
"how was it?" matt asks as she's taking a seat next to chris, "it was good, he has definitely changed. a lot actually" she answers, chris puts his arm around the side of the sofa where she was sat. he thought his arm was basically around her without it actually being around her, he thought it meant nothing to eliza but it meant so much to him.
"you gonna see him again?" chris asks looking at the girl sat next to him, "probably not, no. it was nice to clear the air, incase i ever see him again" she answers and chris nods letting out a subtle sigh of relief.
"wanna go out for food, i'm hungry" cami says and everyone nods, "i'll come with you guys, if that's alright? i'm not hungry though but i don't wanna be on my own" eliza asks and chris glances at her, "we weren't gonna leave you here on your own, stupid"
eliza rolls her eyes and punches his arm playfully, one of the subtle touches they would do to eachother. chris has to retaliate but he doesn't punch her, instead he ruffles her hair because he knew that would annoy her more than a punch.
she stands looking at him with an open mouth, "christopher!" she exclaims, "my hair was nice today" eliza states trying to flatten her hair. the pair forgot they were with a group of people, when they were together, it was as though time didn't exist and it was just them two in the whole world.
nick clears his throat, "guys were hungry, stop flirting" eliza and nick turn to look at them, "how was we flirting?" chris asks and eliza nods, "i punched his arm and he messed up my hair, in what world is that flirting?" eliza asks and then chris agrees with her
"whatever" madi says, "let's go get food? where we thinking?" she asks and the group think, "how about that burger place?" matt suggests and everyone agrees, "yeah okay" nick says and the group walk out of the hotel and to the lobby.
madi and nick are walking next to cami and matt and eliza and chris were behind them.
"chris stop being annoying" eliza complains nudging the boy back and he laughs just as eliza's phone pings. it was kai.
ELIZA'S POV

yo liz we're having a party at my
house tonight? u wanna come?
feel like i haven't seen u in forever
yeah yeah ofc! can my friends
come?

CHRIS'S POV
"guys kai's having a party and he's invited us, you wanna go?" eliza asks us all and i roll my eyes when she says kai, i thought she stopped speaking to him as she hasn't really mentioned him.
"yeah,i'll go with you" nick says and cami and madi agree, "count us in" madi speaks for the both of them.
she looks at matt and matt nods, she then looks at me, "yeah okay" i reply and she smiles, "he's coming to pick us up at half seven, so be ready"
we were at the restraunt and we got took to a table, i was sat opposite eliza who was in between cami and matt. i was in between nick and madi
"so what you guys gonna wear?" cami speaks up and everyone thinks for a second, "probably this outfit i got from forever 21, you know the black one madi? with a jacket and some black-heeled boots" eliza explains and the girls nod, "that would look so cute" cami says and eliza smiles, "yeah, your gonna look hot" nick also compliments, "stop, you guys are gonna make me blush" eliza smiles covering her mouth.
the waiter comes and takes our order and we all just talk.
"this is really random but what word makes no sense to you" nick asks and everyone looks at him, "discombobulated" eliza says and everyone laughs at her answer like she's crazy, "i'm being serious, like it means confused or something right? like why would could you not just a ay 'he looks confused' or 'are you confused' like why would you say 'he looks discombobulated' or 'are you discombobulated' " eliza finishes and at this point the whole group is laughing, and not long after she joins in.
"delinquent" nick answers and everyone nods but me and cami just look at eachother, "i've never heard of that word" i say and cami nods, "me either"
"well your both delinquents" matt says and i glare at him, but before i can say anything our food comes and we start eating.
