It's been abandoned for so long, but I've finally found some level of inspiration to continue with it. I'm just wondering if anyone would be reading it after 8 months and such a trailing off after the first chapters...
If not, I guess the last written chapter is also a good spot for a happy ending, in which case I'd write one more as an epilogue to tie up some of the more major loose ends and leave it at "he lived happily in heaven".
