changbin had always been good at getting distracted by little things. the world being to bright and colourful for him to stay focused on one thing. whether it was the birds, the clouds, or the flowers in the meadow, changbin would always find a way to distract himself.

this time, it was his need to avoid the rural's that distracted him from his 'royal' duties. he and his royal guard had been going around to the rural communities, speaking of things such as fairness and justice. even though changbin, the royal of royals, prince of the vampires knew that nothing would change, his parents said it was essential for vampires as a whole to accept him as their future leader.

changbin thought it was all complete bullshit.

rural's would never change, they would always hate the royal's regardless of all the speeches and visits. what he wasn't aware of was that the rural's only behaved like that to survive, none of them chose it, none of them wanted to feed off humans and occasionally royal vampires. it was disgusting, vile. but none had ever had a conversation with an important enough royal, so their attempts to prove themselves were fruitless and always ended in a starving, deranged vampire going on a massacre.

they left nothing but a trail of terror and chaos behind them. rural vampires were the reason that siren's had been driven away from their water habitats, the reason why siren's were almost extinct. and they never stood up to take the blame, they just let it happen.

if changbin wasn't a prince he gladly would've strangled as many rural's as he could for tainting the name of vampires.
