"I told you, idiot, but you chose not to believe me." Anna looks at me with a playful glare.

"I'm not sure I just have my suspicions." I add in and she rolls her eyes.

"The child is obviously yours, idiota. I saw her with my own eyes, she is definitely not a Donnelley." Silas takes a huge bite of his waffle that is drenched in syrup.

"Our sister-in-law even got super tense with my presence, and she tensed even more when I purposely called Dahlia my niece." Silas continues telling Anna.

Dahlia.

Her name hadn't been released to the press just her birthday and gender so it's now that I'm finding out what it is. Her name is all I need to know that she could be mine. Unless Lucia is just cruel and wants to continue to torture me by using the name she said we would name our first daughter. I'm holding onto every last bit of hope I have left in me. I'm sure she has an explanation for everything and I'm willing to listen and forgive her.

We can still be a family and we can still continue to love each other. There is still time for me to free her from that hell prison and there is still time for me to make every and each one of her dreams come true. I just need her to fucking talk.

"This is the address." Silas points up to an apartment.

The whole complex is old and the streets around are empty.

Silas puts on those stupid sunglasses of his and we step out of the car. I look around at our surroundings and it's just empty. I wonder if anyone even lives here. There isn't any sound of anything either except nature.

Silas begins walking toward the old and dirty stairs and I follow after him. We walk all the way to the apartment in the far end. Silas tries to turn the doorknob to see if it's open but it's locked. It's then that I notice that the window is slightly cracked open.

"Look." I motion to Silas who pulls out a pocketknife to cut open the window screen.

I then reach to slide the window open, giving myself enough space to reach my hand in to unlock the door. Silas opens it, walking right in and I do the same but stop in my steps when a horrible smell hits me.

It smells like weed mixed with many other unpleasant smells. The place is fucking dirty and trashed so it's no surprise really. I cover my nose with my arm along with Silas as he goes to check the rooms. I decide to look around the living room and kitchen to see if there is anything that could be of importance.

There isn't anything just piles of trash from snacks and takeout.

I walk into the kitchen where the smell seems to worsen. It's then that I see freshly dried blood on the floor and then on the counter I see that there is a hand. A fucking hand.

"He's not home, but fuck should he not have a home. This place stinks and it's so dirty and gross. How can anyone live like this? I bet you the nasty fuck doesn't even shower or wipe his ass when he uses the damn bathroom." Silas goes on a full rant when he appears.
