She kisses me and now I'm obsessed with her.
All it took was one kiss for me to know just how badly I need her. I'm going to have her and I'm going to free her from that prison that she calls marriage and family. She doesn't know it, but I promise to make her the happiest and give her everything she has ever wanted.
No one deserves to be so trapped, to have their freedom taken away, and to lose all hope for what their life can become. She deserves every single one of her dreams to come true and I'm going to make sure that happens. I will destroy that fucking family and anyone who gets in her way. I'm willing to die in the end if it's necessary.
"You're playing the part of the villain right, Ace." Are the words spoken when I hear someone burst in through the door behind me.
The idiot doesn't even annoy me anymore with his dumbass comments. That's how accustomed I am to having him around. I kind of miss him when he's gone but I'll never admit that to him.
I turn around to look at Silas who has a big dumb smile on his face as he begins walking toward.
"Looking out into the city while thinking about the downfall of your enemy." He adds context to his words and laughs at the face I make. He's so stupid.
He pulls me into a hug and very roughly hits me on the back as I return it.
"I'm here like I said I would be." He still has a smile on his face as he goes over to serve himself a glass of whiskey.
I take a seat in my chair, drinking from my glass before I speak. "I have a change of plans."
He glances over at me as he finishes filling his glass. "What are those changes?" I watch him walk back toward me to sit in a chair across my desk.
"I'm also taking his wife." My words cause him to raise his eyebrows followed by a chuckle.
"You really do hate the fucker." He states an insane look in his eyes.
"I like it, I'm in." He puts his feet up on my desk, crossing them over one another.
"What are you going to do with the wife?" There is a hint of curiosity in his voice.
"Keep her, hopefully." My words cause him to smile big.
"Aww, Acey has a crush. Never thought I'd see the day." He makes me nauseous.
Silas then becomes very serious while looking at me. It's fascinating how fast his mood can change. "I actually did think you would die alone someday." He is so unserious.
"I can't believe you actually found a woman. First than me, too. I've been looking for one my whole life and nothing. I'm about to be thirty and it's getting a bit scary." It's true, Silas wants a wife, but he is fucking picky.
He can have any woman. They all practically throw themselves at him just by getting one look at the guy, but he doesn't care.
Silas is a great guy in every aspect there is. Everyone he seems to interact with either really likes him or fucking hates him. He just has something to him that would make anyone want to run despite their feelings toward him. He gets paid to kill for a living. He is the definition of death at this point. He is what everyone in the underworld thinks of when hearing the word death even if they don't know his name or identity. He's referred to as Ghost or Il Fantasma in Italian.
"We're starting tomorrow." I inform him and he motions for me to add on.
"I'm already working on the destruction of his companies and it's going to plan. Right now, I need to find a contract. Him and his wife signed it before getting married." I stop when he puts a hand up for me to stop.
"Woah. I need to know all the details on this woman and how she ended married to that piece of shit first." He tells me likes it's necessary. It's not he is just nosy.
I sigh running a hand across my face. He's going to be annoying about it later so I might as well just tell him everything now.
"It was an arranged marriage with basically no way out. She doesn't even like him, but he seems to be obsessed with her and pretty possessive." I quickly explain that.
"He is also having an affair and her and her family don't seem to have a clue about Andrew and Eric Donnelley's past." I briefly summarize everything for him, and he nods in understanding.
"So, you're having an affair with her or not yet?" He sips on his glass.
"Yes, I've gotten close to her." I'm not going to give him details, friend or not. Not even Anna has been able to get a word out of me. I prefer to keep the intimate stuff between me and her.
"I've been asking around and looking for this contract." I change the subject back to what we were discussing.
"It states everything to know about their marriage. Lucia, which is her name, wasn't allowed to read it and was only forced to sign it. She doesn't know what she agreed to." The face he makes is exactly how I felt when she told me this.
Their is something seriously wrong with all the people involved in this. I need her away from them all urgently.
"She said that a divorce isn't something that can happen and apparently somewhere on the contract it could state when a divorce is allowed to occur." I inform him. He nods in understanding.
"I'm more than sure that Eric has the contract. I had someone look for it in his office at the company, but they didn't find shit. It must be in his house." I'm sure it's there.
"Why can't you tell Lucia to get it?" He's smart when it comes to business and his job but he lacks common sense sometimes.
"Do you know how much fucking danger she would be in? I'm not risking anything happening to her." I watch a smirk grow on his face. I realize he asked that stupid question on purpose.
"So it's serious, huh?" He takes another sip of the whiskey.
I throw a pen at his face hoping it will stab into his eye, but it only hits him across the face, and he chuckles.
"We're breaking into the house tomorrow night. I have everything planned out." I go back to the main subject at the moment and he immediately becomes interested in my words.
"Sounds fun. What exactly are we doing?"
A lot considering how packed that place is with security physically and with technology. I have a map of the entire house. I even had a few of our hackers disguise themselves with some of our other men to sneak into the place. I have everything planned out to detail.
Lucia doesn't know about this because I'm sure she would want to help, and I can't let her put herself in danger like that. I also can't have Eric suspecting anything.
