Omniscient
It's been ninety-two hours, roughly almost four days.
Recently, more like sense Mayari disappeared, it's been quiet on the streets. Everyone is waiting, waiting for just the right moment to attack.
Tamris walks into the office where everybody was at with some news on Mayari's whereabouts. After Messiah left out of the office everyone took turns leaving to shower and clean up. Someone always stayed in case Lisette, the hacker, had finished up. And now she finally did.
"Yeah ma. Vin? He's here too." Messiah says making Melvin act asleep.
Sherry may not be his biological mother and he also didn't grow up around her. But she loved him nonetheless. And of course, nagged him like a mother would.
Messiah looks back at his brother with an evil little smile and then put the phone on speaker.
"Oh so he don't know how to answer the phone?! Boy. Give him the phone Siah." She says almost as if she's warning him to do so. Messiah was just glad she was nagging his brother and not him for once.
"Yes ma'am." Melvin says his voice a little shaky. Sherry isn't a big women at all but she was scary. She's married to an ex gang leader, in a way she had to be tough in order to stand by him.
"Boy you got some nerve. I got the wrong number for you?" She's asks him. And he could almost picture the women's face with her hand on her hip.
"No mama Sherry. But look here this dude, your son, got himself in some trouble and what kinda brother would I, The Great Melvin, be if I didn't help? I've been preoccupied with other things as well." He says making himself sound extra studious.
"Vin I get that son. Just an "I'm alive" text will do. And thank you, Yari is a big part of our lives and Mell needs her the most. She's all she has. Please find her. And I know Tj is there, just tell everyone I said thank you. Be safe I gotta go Mell is calling me. I love you my sons."
"Ight we love you too." Everyone even the twins say. And just for a second everything feels a bit peaceful. The banter between Mrs. Sherry and Melvin, everyone laughing at them. But a second isn't long at all.
Tj clears his throat and you could feel the shift in the room as if everyone knew what he was going to say next. "So y'all Lisette got the lo from the phone. She said it took longer because a hour after the call he must've smashed the phone because the signal was completely gone. Meaning she had to work around it, so we only have an an area of where he could be not an exact location."
"Ight so where is the area?" Melvin asks, as he motions for everybody to check the laptop.
"Well big bro it seems like it right outside of your part of town." Tj says and everybody looks at the laptop and to Melvin.
Melvin's face scrunches up with confusion. He immediately takes out his phone dialing his right hand man's number. He picks up after two rings.
"Yo bro. I need you to look for anything in this area that seems suspicious for me. Anything that look abandoned." The other end of the phone call goes silent and after a few seconds the guy speaks up.
"Man actually I was finna tell you some of your guys was out on the corner of that street, they had seen a few people coming in and out that abandoned building. I just heard a few hours ago." Cinco, Melvins right hand says confused on why this abandoned building right outside their area was important all of a sudden.
"Why would they go on the other side of town, I'm guessing to avoid you King, just to end up right outside the area of your brother?" Jay asks a question his twin was also curious about.
Messiah thought about it for a few seconds and yet he also had no answer for that question. But he was planning on getting one soon.
"What you need us to do Vin?" Cinco asks making everyone look back at the phone that was on speaker.
"What we doin lil bro?" Melvin looks up asking Messiah.
"Get some of your boys ready and imma get some of mine. We gone go to your trap and handle this problem tomorrow night. I don't wanna wait any longer but we need a layout of this abandoned warehouse it seems like there's multiple floors. And we need a plan." Messiah says taking out his phone to start making some calls.
"Ight. I'm finna be on my way back Cinco. Get some of our boys ready, you know who. And I need a layout of that warehouse printed out, i'll tell you what you need to know when I get there."
Cinco without another question tells him okay, hangs up, and starts putting things into motion.
Melvin looks at his brother, who's really not paying him no mind. "You know if I knew anything lil bro you would've been knew and shit would've been started by now."
Messiah looks at his older brother both of their faces showing little to no emotion. "Nigga if I ain't trust you Tj would've been shot at least one of your legs off by now. I know you ain't know Vin. Now we do, so let's small talk later."
Melvin just nods and thinks to himself why weren't him and his brother closer. Why was there always this distance between them? But like his brother said they can small talk later. Right now everyone needed to focus.

"Yo wassup." Cinco says dapping up and pulling his friend and boss into a hug.
"Yo man everything been good here?" Melvin asks as they all start walking up into his office.
Even though Melvin was only on the other side of town Messiah never really came over here. Just like Melvins first time coming to Messiahs trap was only a few days ago. Every gang can choose whether to respect the other, some just want more power and that's when things get messy. Even though they are brothers it's still about respect.
"Cinco this my lil bro and his people. King, Tj, Jamor, and Jaylen, this is Cinco my right hand." Everyone says wassup from the spots where they stand. When all the greetings are done. Cinco walks over to a board of some kind, after turning to over the other side shows a big printout of the layout of that abandoned building.
"Ight so what we need the layout of this warehouse for? It ain't really our area. What we finna get into?"
"Someone important got taken from me and now I need to get her back. That abandoned warehouse seems to be the closest lead we've gotten to finding her. It's the only building over here that seems useful enough to check."
"So you think she at this building. Which would be why I was told people were coming in out of there. Ight so let's go over the building layout and then go from there."
"Tell us what you know." Messiah says taking a seat and trying to focus on what Cinco was saying. He's ready for this to be over and for Mayari to be safe with him. And once she is he'll make sure he does everything right this time.
