XXXVIII: The Dinner Pt.1

Today is finally the day of the dinner. All of Mayari's loved ones were coming. Initially it was going to just be Mayari's people but she had convinced Kamron to invite his family too, didn't have to be everyone but at least someone, so he opted for his twin sisters she had met a week ago.

The day was inching closer and closer to their reservation time, 7:30pm. To say Mayari was nervous was an understatement. She had never done anything like this, she's never needed to. But now here she was getting ready texting her friends and Kamron to make sure everyone was getting ready and would be on time.

Her mom was in her own room listening to Michael Jackson and getting ready. She wanted to look up the place and everything around it, hoping if things go good they can all take a nice stroll. But that was IF things went as Mayari and Kamron planned.

Mayari was currently in her bathroom fixing her jet black butt length lace wig. Deciding to keep it super simple with her hair for this dinner. Her outfit was a beautiful blood red dress that tightly hugged her figure, a slit on her right leg that rode up to her waist but still didn't show too much skin while she walked. It was off the shoulders and long sleeve, making the beautiful diamond necklace Kamron got her visible and shiny. Her diamond earrings to match with her other silver and diamond bracelets and rings. Her heels were black with red bottoms, another gift of Kamrons. He definitely showed out when asking her to be his.

Kamron facetimes Mayari. She answers keeping the phone towards the ceiling. "Where's your face at?" He asks not even greeting her first. He hated when she made him look at the ceiling and she did it often too.

"You'll see me when we meet at the restaurant. I want it to be a full surprise." He smiles and nods.

"I already seen the dress tho?" She swipes down on her phone checking her notifications and the time.

"Yeah I know that but you haven't seen it on. It's almost seven so i'm gonna do my finishing touches then we will head out since we are about twenty-five minutes away from the restaurant." She didn't even have the dress on but her hair and all her jewelry were on and she felt that was enough to spoil the final reveal.

"Okay I understand I guess i'll have to wait. I'm almost ready too. I can't wait to see you beautiful." He says eyeing the camera that's up against the wall sitting on his dresser. He was wearing a black suit that fitted him nicely. "Which tie matches better to your dress beautiful?" He was showing her too red ties but she could tell one was way more off even in the camera.

"I say the one in your right hand, my left." He nods wrapping it around his neck but not tying it.

The place they had reserved was very fancy. It was similar to the one Kamron took Mayari for their date when they officially became a couple. But this one was even more upper class. They had reserved an entire room with a long table to fit everyone with maybe one or two extra seats. What was supposed to be a wall would be replaced with the beautiful ceiling to floor windows and that of course looked over the night city, they'd be on the highest floor.

"Okay baby text me on your way and then call me when you get there, alright?" Kamron asked his screen now having a paused symbol making Mayari nod her head they gave each other a kiss through the phone. Kamron was feining for her plump lips to be on his again but he could wait thirty-five more minutes.

"May may! You ready pretty girl?" Her mom yelled walking towards her room. She knocks and Mayari unlocks the door immediately turning around in her face to tie up the corset attached to the torso of the dress. It was inside the fabric that appeared outside the dress making you looked extra snatched without making the corset affect obvious.
