Chapter XXIV: Safe

Thirty minutes before the plan was to be executed, Messiah was sitting in the back of the all black van waiting and thinking. For the most part it was silent the whole ride to the abandoned warehouse building, well apart from the twins arguing like children. Of course about something mostly no one cared about, even in a time like this they could argue until their mouths fell off.

Tj touches Messiah's shoulder and with a straight face he says, "She's here bro, I know she is. I mean I really don't but she gotta be bro. We gone get her back."

Messiah just nodded. He knew Tamris was trying to help but at this moment he didn't wanna hear all that. He just needed to see Mayari. The doubts in his mind ran crazy. But he was gonna get her back tonight, that was a promise.

"Ight y'all boys we here. That's the building." Cinco says smoothly driving by it and parking at a distance from it. Messiah looks and notices men outside but they aren't paying the van any mind as they were busy playing games it seemed.

"They don't even have many lights on or nothing. I guess trying to keep that abandoned look right?" Jaylen says making the others agree. You could see maybe one or two lights on inside but for the most part it completely dark or just barely lit up.

Cinco parks the car down the block. And swiftly everyone gets out. To say this was anyone's first time using a gun like this would be a lie. Messiah and Tamris even only being so young, they still have done more than just shootouts. This for them was a walk in the park but that doesn't mean they'd prefer it came down to this.

"Okay y'all ready? Everybody remember the plan?" Once everyone gets their guns, ammo and other weapons for back up they nod and start to split up in their groups and take the walk to the building. Even though they didn't park that far the walk there was dreadfully long. They had decided while getting suited up to have one person wait in both vans to ensure that both their vans was ready to go when they needed.

Immediately upon entering the once built up gate things started to pop off. Shots coming from every direction and the darkness hiding the many bodies of people from each group. Some getting shot down others being covered by the darkness of the night from the wandering eyes, trying to shoot back.

As they made their way deeper into the building they searched every room leaving trails of bodies wherever they went.

"Any sign of her?" Messiah asked through his small ear piece. With "No's" from everyone being the only responds he began moving a bit faster now and more aggressive when he got to a hallway that wasn't dark unlike most of the other ones. But this one was right below the ground level. And there were plenty of guys seemingly waiting for their arrival, probably hearing the mess above.

Pushing his way through with the help of Tj and Jamor he makes his way to a room at the end of the hall and right now barely lit. The three walk in already feeling uneasy about this room. And just as Jamor was about to voice his concern a light turns on. There was no electricity in the building at least not much but they made it like that so it could be less noticeable and in the day time they would only use natural lighting until they couldn't.

"Well well well. If it is isn't prince charming and his two dwarfs. How good? Isn't that right princess Mayari??" sitting on a metal chair was Mayari dressed with a big zip up jacket and bra and panties on. The jacket was covering up majority of the bruises. When he lifted up her face to pretend she could talk you could see the bruises and her tear stained cheeks.

Messiah's eyes went wide for a second until he held up the gun to the level of the man they now knew was definitely Tasman.

"No no not so fast." The guy said more as if he was singing it and held up a gun towards Mayari's unconscious head.
