Junichiro had no idea where he was going. He was just running. He made sure to keep his steps as quiet as possible seeing as Light Snow doesn't cover sound, only sight.
He stopped abruptly when he nearly ran right into the red-haired man from earlier. He was on the phone, and he did not look very happy.
"He got out?" he asked "How?"
Junichiro slowly stepped around him, keeping his back to the wall. Once he was clear, he stepped out from the wall, leaving behind a large red splotch of blood.
To his horror, the red-haired man turned toward the blood spot. He stopped talking, and walked over to the spot. He dragged his hand over the blood and brought his hand closer to his face. After wiping the blood off, he brought the phone to his ear again.
"He's close by" he said, and paused for the person on the other line "On it"
He pocketed his phone and quickly walked down the hall and around the corner.
Once he was out of sight, Junichiro let out a sigh of relief.
Suddenly, a door clicked opened, and a hand found it's way around Junichiro's arm. He was pulled back and pinned to a wall, the blade of a knife being held against his throat. He didn't dare open his eyes until he felt the pressure of the knife leave.
"You can drop the camoflauge now" a male voice cut through the tense silence "Ain't no one here but me"
Junichiro opened his eyes, and was met with two amber eyes glaring at him. Hesitantly, he dropped Light Snow. Junichiro took a long look at the other boy.
His hair was a light auburn and stuck out in every other direction. His eyes were a similar amber color to his own, but much narrower. A single brown bandaid was placed over his nose bridge-whether it was a stylistic choice or served a function remained unknown.
The other boy removed his army green jacket, and placed it over Junichiro's shoulders, effectively covering the majority of his binder.
"The name's Tachihara" he said.
Junichiro only stared at him.
Tachihara chuckled "Y'know, it's custom for the other person to introduce themselves as well"
Junichiro didn't speak. He only pulled the jacket tighter around him.
Tachihara nodded his head "It's cool" he said "You're overwhelmed and probably a little scared"
Tachihara reached over to the bed on his left and pulled a first-aid kit in front of Junichiro.
"Ya don't have to talk" he said "But we should probably get that cleaned up"
Junichiro instinctively curled in on himself. The idea of another person, a man especially, touching him gave him the worst ick.
But something about him was different.
"Do you think you can do it yourself" he asked "or would you like me to help?"
"You can do it"
His voice was quiet. Tachihara almost thought that he imagined it. Junichiro was clearly shaken up and uncomfortable.
He nodded and reached for his jacket before pausing for a second.
"I'm gonna need to take the jacket off for just a second" he said.
Junichiro flinched just a bit, his grip on the end of the jacket tightened.
"Only for a minute" Tachihara repeated "You can keep your tank top on and I'll give you a shirt to wear over it"
