Making Christmas

3rd person POV

Y/n snapped out of her thoughts when she heard Lock, Shock and Barrel screaming for Jack.

"Jack! Jack! We caught 'im! We got 'im!" They yelled as they gestured towards the tub with a huge bag in it.

Y/n gasped softly, wondering if Sandy Claws was okay in there. "Perfect!" Jack said, thrilled that the Christmas man was here. Jack and y/n both walked towards the three kids. "Open it up. Quickly!" Jack grinned, hardly containing his excitement.

Meanwhile, y/n stared at the bag with worry. Barrel opened the bag up, and out came... a bunny?

Jack and y/n gasped when they saw the pink bunny land. "That's not Sandy Claws." Y/n lightly scolded the kids, who looked at her with confused faces.

"It isn't?" Shock asked with spread out arms.

"Who is it?" Barrel asked, making Jack and y/n share a glance. They both had no idea. One thing they were sure of, is that he was a keeper of a holiday.

The bunny hopped on over to the stage, standing directly in front of Behemoth.

"Bunny!" Behemoth yelled with a grin, startling the poor bunny. It hopped back towards the tub and hid in the bag it was kidnapped in.

Y/n awed at it, walking over and gently petting the shaking bunny. It started to calm down with her touch making her smile gently.

"Not Sandy Claws! Take him back!" Jack ordered the three with a glare.

"We followed your instructions." Lock quickly explained as he backed away slightly.

"We went through the door." Barrel said as Shock and Lock nodded.

Y/n sighed as she closed her eyes. "Which door? There are more than one." She asked them, trying not to lose her patience. After all, they were not to blame here.

"That's right! Sandy Claws is behind the door shaped like this." Jack said, pulling out a Christmas tree cookie from his pocket.

"I told you!" Shock yelled at Lock, choking him for his incompetence.

Barrel stepped back a bit and threw a punch at Shock, but he missed. Once Shock let Lock go, he tackled her to the ground.

Jack sighed in irritation. He put his index bones in his mouth and pulled down, creating a scary face for them to stop.

The three of them gasped in fear and stopped fighting. Y/n sighed for the umpteenth time today and turned back to the bunny.

"I'm so sorry for the inconvenience, Mr. Bunny. They'll be taking you back now." She sweetly said to him, making him pop out his head a bit and nod at her. He then brought out his hand and gifted her an egg.

She smiled while taking it gratefully, looking at the egg in awe. It had beautiful designs and when she shook it, she heard something inside.

The bunny then made motions with his mouth, saying it's meant to be eaten.

"Take him home first! And apologize again." Jack ordered the three kids with a glare as they did as told. Y/n slightly waved at the bunny who waved back and hid in the bag again. "Be careful with Sandy Claws when you fetch him." He warned them.

"Treat him nicely!" Y/n added, hoping they would do just that.

"Got it. We'll get it right next time." The three answered as they walked out the door. Y/n watched as they left. Granted, she only said that because she knows how those kids act. She wasn't accepting the fact that Jack is stealing Christmas.
